    How Bad Was It?

3 weeks will be great! Wouldnt really exercise during that time, unless of course the doc is okay with that... your calorie intake will be super duper low and your energy (the little you have) will be healing your staple line Enjoy the 'break!' lol

    Questions

no sliming or vomiting... some people to vomit in the first little bit as they are learning how much is too much. I hear from people who have revised to Sleeve that its much easier... still another different way of eating to learn. My heart goes out to you that you are facing this again. Tough stuff. Best Wishes

    Fruit

As long as you chew thoroughly you should be good about 6-8 weeks post op. Just remember you need that tummy room for protein etc first. That should get in your way a little... chew chew chew hehe

  12. Well I am over 2 years post op, but this is a life long journey.... you never stop 'dealing' with your food issues, but you have CONTROL! Oh boy does it feel good to have control... I am so excited for you! Aftercare is key to succeeding! I hope you have some nutritional counseling help etc planned for after surgery :) I highly recommend it! And you have us too!

  13. FInally broke down and got a Costco card - Hooray for having my protein! So glad I have found something I really like and that doesn't break my bank! Woot!

  14. Yes.... eating those 'favorites' is normal lol... I almost had a "Food Funeral" it was literally like my bff just died. IT passes and priorities change and you wear super big girl pants that start to shrink really fast.... once that happens a maple bar is really the furthest thing from your mind! LOL

  15. Make sure you are getting 50-60g Protein in daily! Check out premier nutrition protein shakes & bars (my fav so far) and any Protein powder that is 'whey protein isolate' Hang in there! Everyone's journey is a little different, don't sell yourself short!
  16. Congrats on a surgery date!!!!!!

  17. It hurts my feelers that Canadians have to wait an average of 6 yrs for WLS... what a bunch of poo..... :(
