Sorry I just read your message. Yes I am on a 1200 to 1400 a day lo carb plan. So far I am 4 pounds under the Dr.s goal for me. I just need to maintain until the surgery. I will be on clears 2 days before.

so my husband comes in from working in the yard and says our neighbor who is a Nurse at Kaiser said , she went to all classes for the VSG and chickened out, then told her I was having the surgery. Then tells me oh she said your stomach will stretch back out.So I told him well she must have not been listening because thats not what they said. So now my husband is freaked out. I wish he wouldn't have said anything.

I wish it would have only taken a few months, the process took so long that my Kaiser plan through work changed to a DMHO and now I have a co-pay of 3k. My surgery is scheduled for July 25th, so I am pretty excited and glad all the hoops I went thru are in the past. Good luck! -

Northern Ca is a lot quicker than So Ca. It has taken a year for me, and that was pushing everyone the whole way.
