I bet green is a terrible color on her. Shake it off, what a turd! Maybe you can pass your old jeans on to her??

Girl, you gotta get on top of this situation. It is the current favorite in our bedroom! It is a great way to have eye contact and be able to kiss and be super close. I think just being open to new positions and clothing options (like lingerie) can spice up the scene in the bedroom. And I agree with Arts137, give them all a try! Good luck and I hope you have a great time!

Dr Nick Nicholson- Dallas, TX
Karen H. replied to MystiGal's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Hi! I was a self-pay patient and the process was super quick. I had my fee to Dr. Nick the Friday before my operation and paid the hospital the morning of surgery. I went from consultation to surgery in three weeks. Having cash really clears the way of red-tape! -

I love Dr. Nick. My experience with him was wonderful. I sailed through surgery, no catheter. My RN husband had me up walking after two hours and every two hours after that. I, too, had left sided pain because that is the incision where the stomach is pulled through and it was sewn tight, so it pulled. But as soon as the weight started to come off the pulling sensation ceased. I didn't see Dr. Nick in the hospital after, but I felt very comfortable with the PA Brittany and the other house physicians I saw. Good luck to you and you are going to be a success! -
Its the best feeling, isn't it!?!?! So happy for you today, ya big loser, lol!

TMI alert! Not to scare you but my experience with post-sleeve constipation led to rectal surgery. I should add that I'd had intermittent problems with constipation prior to the sleeve. By four months post sleeve I had developed an anal fissure that would not heal and having any form of bowel movement was like pooping shards of glass. I ended up having a fissurectomy at seven months out and the recovery was nearly unbearable. Everything is fine now because I take sugar free Konsyl fiber, one dose in the morning. I take it religiously because I never ever want to have that pain ever again. Also, getting in your Water will help. Taking fiber requires a lot of water. Best of luck to you!

Ughhhh...wth...here's a throwback Thursday, although I guess it could be a throw-up Thursday as well. On the left you will see moi, two years ago last month. Note my facial expression, lol. On the right you will see moi two weeks ago, smiling on vacation with my fam. I just need to put this out there today. Finally taking charge of my health has been the best thing I have ever done...for myself. And for others, they get the benefit of a healthy, happy Karen. left pic weight: 305 right pic weight: 188

Good for you! The water park was one of my challenges as well. We have lived near one for ten years and my kids have wanted to go forever. I just never felt like I could do it. We spent two days there last August and I had the time of my life. Thank you for your comments regarding the scale. You are right, why do we place so much emphasis on such an unreliable thing? Its silly, really! Wishing you continued success, Karen

We just returned from a two week road trip to a family reunion in California. All of the family we saw have never seen me at this weight. The last time they saw me I was pushing 350 lbs. At the reunion I was 190 lbs and participated in every activity and most importantly, was in every picture taken. I am getting the pics printed off today and I am so proud of the way I look and how my mind, attitude and body have been completely transformed by this surgery! Don't put it off another minute! Here is my family and myself at the incredibly windy Point Lobos State Reserve in Carmel, CA.

Awesome! When the brain finally catches up with what the heart desires (power over food), the feeling is amazing. Here's to your continued success!

So happy for you! I love my ass too! I used to hate hauling that big load around, but now that it is getting higher and tighter, I adore it. I agree with Butterflyhigh, a good ass definitely has to be slapable.

I have officially been sleeved
Karen H. replied to Sleevedmedic's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Well at least your kidneys are getting a good flush! I am so happy that you are in minimal pain, that gas can be a real bugger. I found that walking really helps. Best of luck to you! -
I hope this is not too much info for this forum. I just want to proclaim that I have finally mastered being on top during sex, and now it is my favorite option. I love being able to see him close and of course, being in control of the pace. This is the one position that eluded and frustrated me back when there was a lot more of me to love. It was awkward and embarrassing and always ended up with lots of apologizing on my part. This surgery has not only giving me a new lease on life, but it has opened doors to a sizzling sex life!
