i am 4 days out from surgery, the procedure hit me like a ton of bricks, I had a lot of pain and just feeling rotten. No real nausea just very burpy when I drink, still on the clear liquid phase. When I got home and weighed I had gained 15 pounds of water weight, (its certainly not from calories}. I feel somewhat like a bloated whale! Has anyone else experienced this lovely event? How long did it take to loose back down to the pre surgical wt? This is depressing! Any input greatly appreciated.

thank you so much for the replies, even though my head knows its water weight, my body isn't happy! Can't wait to feel a little better, I am up and about ,but have zero energy. I have to go back to work on day 9, which should be interesting. Thank you again for the feed back.
