I have to be on a 10 day diet before surgery. I am drinking two Pure Protein Powder Vanilla Shakes a day. I mix it with 12 oz of 1% milk. (Breakfast and Dinner) I then drink 4 oz of 100% Apple Juice. Mid-morning I drink 20 oz of water. At lunch, I have 1/2 cup of broth and 16oz of water. Midafternoon I have a special K protein water with Fiber, I mix the packet with 20 oz of water. For dinner a protein shake and a popsicle. I tried to eat the yogurt and cottage cheese but it does not seem to satisfy me as much as the drinking. I taking two Flintstones vitamins in the morning. I feel great and have energy!
Now to my downfall, Easter dinner. I think that I am going to skip the dinner and drop my kids off with the family. No temptations!
I was shocked this morning when I stepped on the scale and had lost a total of 9 lbs.
