OK this plateau won't budge. Well maybe not a true stall... I have been losing about 1/4 some weeks and some weeks none. A good week I lose 1/2 lb. So I am wwwaaayyy behind. I have been addig a few more carbs to see if this breaks it. I had been having way under 30... maybe 16 a day. Gonna raise it a bit to see if I have more energy. Maybe exercise will not feel like such torture??? Weight loss is soooo slow I figure a litte experimentation can't hurt. Khy

Well I have been in a stall for about a month. I am about 3 1/2 months out. My carbs are 30 or under and I am drinking lots of fluids. i am getting some fat calories.... maybe those need to go really low? like under 20 a day? Trying to exercise but the stamina I used to have just isn't there. When you finally make it through the stall, do you go back to losing about 2 lbs a week? In the last month I have lost maybe 2 lbs. I have tried cutting carbs even more but it doesn't seem to help. Am hoping my weight loss will start again soon. Khy

Sigh... was looking forward to that estrogen storm everyone talks about. The one where the fat melts and releases estrogen and the libido goes through the roof... sigh... I guess menopause and the hysterectomy leached all the estrogen. Maybe husbands comments don't help either.... You lost 40 lbs... where... hmmn your stomach is collapsing in on itself, u gonna lose that on your neck? ur breasts used to be fuller, you got what... about 40 lbs left just in you stomach? how come ur stomach is starting to sag... u need to lose more and it will go away... Yes I have this too. I go to bed with a heating pad on my feet. Hair loss for me is still bad. Why does the hair on my head fall out but the hair on my legs and armpits seems just fine :cuss: Khy

Love the Oh yeah chocolate bars and the peanut butter and chocolate bars. They are the ones with 8 carbs. Has anyone tracked down the least expensive place to buy them? Besides the few vegetables and small bites of fruit every few days they are the only carbs I allow myself. 1 & 1/2 boxes cost me about $28.00 at the Vitamen Shoppe. That would be about 14 bars. Just looking for the least expensive way to do this. I tried the Adkins bars but they sit in my stomach like a ton of bricks and then I can actually feel my stomach contract.... a bit disconcerting... Khy

Close to goal. Some how being in the 180's is a bigger deal to me than making Onederland. I guess because the last diet where I lost more than 10lbs was 10 yeas ago and I only got down to 197. Sigh... do these disgusting fat pads under the arms ever go away? I am 40 pounds down and they haven't budged. I suppose at some point I could get them cut off but I had wanted to save my cosmetic money for new tatas or my neck or the extra skin off my stomach. Has anyone at least had them shrink? Khy

i drank the powerade 0. I thinkI needed the electrolytes in it. It helped get rid of the dizzzy feeling I seemed to have right after surgery. I am 2 months out and I still have some once in awhile. Khy

Well that works for the arms but what about the fat pads in the arm pits? That is what I was refering to. Too bad we can't program our fat loss... LOL Take the fat pads in the armpits first, then the belly fat, then the extra bits off the bottom and leave the tatas alone. sigh Khy

I am 2 months out and I have never thrown up. I did get the slimes once early out when I tried to eat too much and too fast. Yes I feel the restriction. I know when I am full. I am working on slowing dow the eating. I so get a heavyness in the stomach... doesn't really hurt but is not pleasant either. I think this is because I eat too fast. I am working on slowing it down. You mentioned that you have a beautiful 3 year old. Children are precious. You might not want to regain the weight but you need to do it for her. Eat some healthy food ( that you keep down) everyday for her. That is a starting point until u can start to learn to love yourself. The road you are on will lead to not being there for her. NOONE loves your child like you do. Your child deserves to have that love for a long while. Khy

Please let me know how you are doing. I had uterine CA stage 2 about 2 years ago. They are pretty sure they got it all. Keep a positive attitude. Stage one... you can beat this, I know you can! I was originally thinking of the RNY (because I didn't know about the sleeve). My husband was pushing for the lap band because it is "reversible." When I heard about the sleeve...I pushed full steam ahead to get this surgery. I was no longer interested in someone slicing and dicing my guts. Khy
