Hi, I'm new here. I'm sticking a toe in the Water of lap band surgery for all the reasons that have been said on these boards a billion times before. Anyway, Bryn Mawr Hospital is reasonably close to me, and they've had a bariatric surgery unit since 2009. Has anyone gone there? What was your experience like? Any feedback, both positive and negative, is welcome. Thanks.

I'm in central Chester Co., so I was really happy to find this group. Thanks so much to everyone for sharing so far, and please keep posting. I really love having a local group. I still haven't decided if I'm going to go for it, although I really really want to, and if I do go for it, where I'm going to go. Phoenixville isn't too far away, and Paoli's not a bad drive, either, but I haven't heard much about either program. Lancaster's really far, but I'll go there if they're good. I wish I could go to New York, after reading the doctor there, but I don't see any way I could make that work, long-term. There's so much to think about. but I'm so glad to read about everyone's experiences.
