Well I have not got a surgery date yet, but I am so satisfied with the thorough exam they are doing on me CEDAR SANAI has my approval. See I recently went to another facility in long beach CA, and they gave Me a surgery date within 2weeks , but they never did a good exam like Cedars. Cedars is just not going to put this foreign object in you for the hell off it... I have shop around and I finally have a sense of comfort all the way around. GO CEDARS!

I am just wondering does anyone have regrets getting the lap band, or what's your regret leading up to the lap band. Or what do you regret now that you are BANDED?

Ok , simple and short. I have a surgery date of June7 but recently found out that a center of excellences does the lap band. The other hospital and Dr. I did shop around for that one, but now I found out cedars sanai does it. Would I be crazy to change plans at the last minute, am I the only one that have switch plans?

Thank u all for the support. I did tell her that I would give her a brochure , but taking her to a support meeting is a good idea. I will be honest and tell u guys I have not tryed everything but I have diet twice, herb life & 50million pound challenge .... Excerise included. I lost 50 lbs on the last one but now here I am 55 pounds heavier. Does it sound like I tryed everything ?

Omg I finally have relieved this off my shoulders to the most important person my mom. I knew that it would turn out like this , she said no don't get the lap band,all u have to do is workout and eat right(you are taking the eazy way out do weight watchers,I will pay for it.I was sitting there thinking if you would have told me that years ago I would not be 293 now.I have June 7 to convince her but now , she has me rethinking why did I tell her what have I done?

Hello everyone, I am not new here but always have browsed. I just want to know can you feel the lap band, I mean i no you feel the port, but when you cough our move ,or sneeze. See i drive a truck and I bounce all day i will hate to feel that , do you no its there . I am due to get banded June7 and i have alot of question but this is the one that always pop up. Do you feel as normal as before like its nothing there....????? hope this is not a dumb question.

Thank you so much for posting this. Thank you to everyone that replied , this makes me feel like i am not crazy and I am not by myself. I am supposed to get banded June7, I con`t to go over and over and over again in my head is this for me . I know it is and just keep reinsuring myself, but the convo up above really hit home for me. I am ready to do this no second guessing anymore.
