Best of luck today I had my surgery on Tuesday and let's just say the past few days have been pretty rough. I am off to a whole new me so every pain is worth it. Talk to you once you make it through.

Well I made it through feel a bit rough but.nothing unusual. Thanks for all the positive thoughts and I will report more once I am feeling better. Sandy

I am going in @ 8:00 with surgery @10:30. Please send me all the positive energy you can and I am sure everything will go well and as planned. I will report after surgery. This forum has helped me so much. Thinking of you.right now Kim all will be great for us on this new journey in life. Sandy

Surgery in 3 days. Scared.

I have my surgery in 4 days and I am finally at peace with it. i thought for sure that I would be really scared at this point but I think that I am finally ready for a new me and a healthier me. I think that it is very normal to be scared but just keep on reading the great stories on this board of those that have gone before us and done fine. Best of luck with your surgery, you are going to be fine. -

Where are you at time zone wise and what time is your surgery? Prayer at the time you.go into surgery has proven effect on surgery and healing. Good luck your journey begins tomorrow.

Congratulations on your journey. I am scheduled for january 18 th and I am having the same concerns with school, work & family but I deserve this so I am going to take it one day at a time. Hopefully I have an understanding instructor & if not I really do not have a lot of control. Congrats again and I look forward to experiencing this along with those scheduled around the same time.

I am 42 & the mother of the most beautiful 2 year old little girl. I am having my sleeve January 18th. I am doing this for myself but also so I am around a long time for my daughter. I have a wonderful boyfriend who is very supportive of me having the surgery but is also very scared for me as well. I am ready for this journey to begin and to be a healthier me.

When do you start your liquid diet? I am supposed to start mine Jan 5th. I go on Jan 4th to find out what it entails.

Merry Christmas to you. Can not believe this is the last Christmas that I will eat like this and also the last Christmas that I will look like this as well. I am extremely excited for what the new year will hold. We will have to stay in touch so we can see the progress each of us is having. Have you found anyone else with the same date?
