Hey there. my surgery was on Wednesday May 11th. So Im just recovering. Im fairly new to the site also. I created a facebook page just for communicating about the lap band and I have alot of others on there who did also.

My husband is having his surgery tomorrow and has been on a liquid diet with Protein shakes 3 times a day. He is doing really well so far. I am having my surgery June 22. To be supportive of my hubby, I started having Protein Shakes 2 times a day and a small sensible, low in fat, sugar and calories, meal for dinner. I am having a problem with headaches myself. I have found that it is due to low blood sugar. I have found that a real life saver, not sugar free, relieves the headache right away. Good luck to you!

I am so excited! My date is June 22. My husband is having his procedure tomorrow, May 19th. We have to do the liquid diet 3 days prior to surgery. So far he isn't too crabby! We are looking forward to a more active healthy lifestyle. Keeping our eye on the prize, so to speak helps! Good luck to you kristi! Looking for any June 2011 bandits!!
