Well got my first fill yesterday, and i feel great...this 24 hour liquid diet was a breeze and i can feel the restriction...it is very comfortable (thank god) ....well im off to the gym and to work my butt off (literaly)..lol!

So today was my very first fill and I feel sorta funny, not sure if it's because I really don't know what to expect but it seems like when I swallow now it is hard for even liquids to go down....now I'm a bit nervous anyone out ther feels like this? Feels like the fluids stay stuck before going down into my pouch! What to do now please anybody got suggestions to put me at ease?

Hello all, I am 4 weeks 3 days post op and i am going to dinner at my in-laws tonight! (OMG) I will be having some grilled fish and some cooked carrots for they are very supportive of my WLS! I know that at the in-laws there will be wine and i am all for it, but, will i be able to have a glass of wine with them for dinner without putting myself at risk of any post op problems since my first fill is scheduled for 4/28. Can anyone who has had alcohol post op help please i am a bit scared or nervous! PLEASE HELP!

Well thank you all for your very much needed and helpful answers! I had two glasses of wine and of course counting calorie intake stopped. Felt great and had no probs but felt very hungover the next day so on that note think i will stick to just one glass for now...lol! Thank you all for being so supportive! -
Hello all I am now 4 weeks and 3 days post op and have a question for anyone who can help! I am going to the inlaws for dinner and was asked if I could drink wine with dinner? Good question can someone please help! This far along can I have a glass or two of wine with dinner and will it create a problem since i am due for my first fill on 4/28! HEEEELLLLPPPP PLEASE!

Hello all I am fairly new to this...i was banded on March 22, 2011 since surgery I have lost 15lbs and i am very happy with those results to date. My first fill is on April 28, 2011 and I am a bit nervous but cant wait. At this point, I have a small concern now that I am 3 1/2 weeks post op is it normal for me to still feel somewhat gassy. If anyone has this problem please put me at ease or should I be calling my doctor? HELP PLEASE!!!!
