At 196 and 5'3, my Dr. told me i was obease. i had reached my highest weight ever.....I was so ashamed and embarrassed on letting myself get so far outta controll, I'd see a picture of myself, and couldnt believe that was actually me.

I had high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. (danger zone high) didn't want to see my friends.....i was embarrassed. (btw...I'm off all my med's now!)

I've tried diet after diet, i'd lose a few lbs, and gain it back soon after.....over and over and over....

I heard about this surgery from my DR, I originally made the appointment to talk about a lap band. I was spooked with all the things that could go wrong, and often do with the band, and being self pay, i didnt want to have to keep going to the dr. and paying out of pocket all the time. The sleeve appealed to me right away....knowing i needed this tool to help me stay on the diet.

I looked at this investment like this......u buy a new car, sell it after 2-5 years.....you have probably lost more money then the surgery costed. i have the sleeve surgery, i'm healthier, i'll live longer, im happier, i'm stronger, and I'll get to see my grandkids one day.
