Ok Cat another question... Was your drain still draining or had it completely stopped? Mine is still draining not a lot but not a little if that makes sense. Mine comes out Sunday and I am worried where all of this yucky Fluid will go after that? I really wonder where everyones fluid that does not have a drain goes because i have let go of a lot of fluid through this thing since its been in. That is why i wonder how this is an option..........

And I envy both of you I have 21 days left OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. I had a revision from band to sleeve so I have to be on liquids for 4 weeks......... Surgery was on 3/23/11, I hope I make it I’m so miserable. My first mushie will be mashed pot, green beans and meatloaf....

OHHHH the dreaded DRAIN!!!!!! I am still trying to wrap my head around this one. My drain has to stay in for 10 days!!! Bathing was horrible at first because I had to hold the bag and try and bath with the other hand but last night I found the tube was long enough so I could attach it to my necklace while bathing to free up my hands. I know GROSS but these are hard times you kinda do what you have to…. I went to Mexico for surgery so my mother ex-nurse has to yank mine out on Saturday. Unless i want to pay 500.00 to fly back to CA (um not). I have so much anxiety about this occurring because I don’t even do well with paper cuts. I’m sure my neighbors will call 911 because I’m going to scream like I won the lotto.

I was also sleeved (revision from band) on 3/22/11 and am sooo depressed. I am wondering if I made the right decision maybe I should have just gotten the band out and took my ass to the gym. No pain just bummed this drain is the worst and I have to wear it for 10 days. I am on clears for another 2 weeks and have not even thought about Protein. I love my hair but could care less about losing it right now. Is anyone else hungry as hell or is it just me? Apple juice, chicken broth, Water repeat…… What is everyone else eating????

Hi Melissa I had a laband placed by Dr. Huacuz in December of 2007, due to complications I will be having revision surgery on March 22, 2011 to the VSG. I do not believe my lapband issue are due to anything Dr. Huacuz did wrong the band does fail some people. All in all I had a great experience while I was there in 2007 and trust him to perform my revision. The staff were all very competent and professional. Good luck to you with you choice of Doctors but I personally give him 2 thumbs up.
