    IN need of Help

Had lamp band jan 2008. weight around 210. June 2008, fell broak my wrist. I think I was not eating enough. never ate a lot to begin with. Had trouble with blood sugars. Got down to about 165 at that time. Starting having some re-gurg issues and they took out most of the fluid. Went back two month later and placed a small amount. Problem is I really cannot eat very much, no am I hungry. SOund good...no I cannot remember anything, I think it is now affecting my thinking. I do not eat, I don loose weight, just stay the say. DO not know what to do I just do not feel well. What do you think. No I have not been to the doctor, insurance has changed and everything is out of pocket. Please ...any suggestions.

Ok new to all this so will take all advise...Low BMI 35...Just want to know from folks that have been there what the journey will be like. Starting on medically supervised diet on Monday. I have reall blood sugar problems and trying to get them to go away. What are the best vitamins to use?? My understanding you really do not start to loose on a regular basis until after the fill. What are some things no on ever told you were going to happen. Very nervous and excited at the same time. Any help suggestions support etc would be great. Thanks again. seeing a Dr. Price (was from LA) anyone seen him??

    Pre- visit

No carbonated drinks again ever, no caffeine for several months. wow....can i just flattened out??? How do you not end up with no headaches when you do not drink caffeine?? Sounds like it is working great for you..
  9. Ok so went to the seminar, now went for the 1st visit. BMP 35.1.+ diabes+hypertension due to diabtes + high cholesterol= I qualify... I quess i am one of the lucky one insurance will pay everything no copay, deductible nothing...( i pay about 80.00 per month for all my medications now). I am going to love losing the weight, but will be happier to lose the diabetes. So questions i have, at what rate do you loose? What can you eat during the 1st month? after that?? Any suggestions to make it work the best??:huggie:

    Anything Goin on for Missourians?

Well just saw Dr. John Price he is new doctor for St. Lukes Hopital on the plaza. He come from La. You can find info on him on the following page. http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/bariatric+surgeon+profile+John+M+Price+ddm.html OK So found out my insurance will pay 100% if my BMI is 35 with conditions. Mine is 35.2 with diabetes type 2, hypertension, high cholesterol. So on the path I go. I am so excited and have so many questions. I have my first medically supervised diet meeting on the 31st...I can have the lap band after 3 months of this... I fill like there is not question I should do this. My diabetes is out of control and at the rate I am going i will be on Insulin before I know it.... what rate do you really loose the weght??
