I was banded 5-31-11 since then I have lost 25% of my excess body weight, which is 48lbs!!!

Heyyyy I got banded on May 31st as well!

Well I had my surgery on May 31st... I was down 21.5lbs last week. On Monday I got stuck and I had to go in and the Dr. completely deflated my band.. 3.75cc out. I am going crazy, I needed more of a fill anyway, and now with it out I feel so defeated. I have an appt this coming monday.. Do you think I'll be able to get all of my fluid back in? I am still eating like I had fluid in the band but its so hard!! I just feel like all of this, everything I have worked so hard for is gone. Also did any of you gain a lb or two when you were allowed to eat regular foods again?

I'm being banded in May. I have never had to be put under, and I am *SO* scared of that! If any of you would calm my fears of this, I'd LOVE that. I'm a smoker of about 1 1/2 packs a day too..I'm trying to quit before the surgery but it's really really hard. Help me to not be so scared of going under please..Also, did any of you dream or anything while you were out? ``Samantha

I know on regular dieting it takes longer for woman to lose weight, but what about the Lap-Band, because Bandaid you are down ALOT of weight in that little ammount of time! Awesome.. I'm getting banded on the 31st, and I want to be like you. Any tips would be great!

Woooo hooo!! I just got word I am being banded May 31st!!

I havent been banded yet, but I know my Dr. told me that when one of his patients becomes pregnant, he completely unfills the band that way you can eat like you are supposed to.
