    Eggs

I had to wait two weeks. Each Dr. is different.

    feeling sad and depressed

I have not lost anything in over 2 months. I am 5 months out and down to 139-142 after my revision to sleeve so I am happy with my weight. However, I know how frustrating it can be. Hang in there. Hopefully our bodies will just jump start back up some day.
  3. I can't have much red meat like steak, hamburger and peanut butter makes me nauseous. I stay away from bread and a very small amount of carbs meals because it makes me feel heavy and bloated. But I can eat a little bit of just about anything. After a year and a half with the lapband where I couldn't even eat scrambled eggs without getting sick, it is truly heaven.

Sharp pain on left sude post op

I had the same thing about 3 weeks out. I was so scared I felt like I was dying. My surgeon said they put a few sutures a the top of the new pouch and it is the pulling. My radiated into my back a week later than finally went away. Hang in there.

To eat or not to eat

I had my revision on May 6th. I couldn't eat any of those things with the band for the same reasons as you. I sometimes would throw up scrambled eggs. I absolutely love my sleeve. I try not to eat that stuff but I can at almost 5 months eat it in little bits with no problem. It feels heavy and sometimes will get me bloaty but I have only threw up once since my revision and it was my own fault. I was at a picnic and over did it. I even ate about 2 oz of very thin steak last week for the first time in two years. You will do great it is such a drastic difference. My weight loss has stalled but I am 140 from 206 pre band and a size 8 from an 18-20 so I am fine with that. Best of luck!
  6. I was revised on May 6th at 165 pounds. I lost another 25ish in the first 2 months or so and than stopped.I am happy where I am at but I feel I should be loosing at least a pound or two with the little bit of food I eat.

    Bands to Sleeves less successful

I had my revision on May 6th. I was 165 pounds and I am now 139 pounds 4 1/2 month later. I feel 100 times better than I did with the band. I can't eat as much but there is no pain, vomitted only once, and I feel great. I went from a size 18/20 to a size 8. I have stopped loosing for about 5 weeks now, but I am happy where I am and anything more I would consider a gift. Best of luck!
  8. I had my band removed after 16 months of problems. I have been sleeved since May 6th and I feel so much better. I can eat almost anything in little amounts. I have only thrown up once, my fault for eating junk at an event, and I am am only about 9 pounds from goal! Go for it you wont regret it.

    left side ache

I had that at about one week out too. Then it radiated into my back on my left side. I was told there is sutures at the top of the stomach where they cut it and it is the pulling we feel. Not sure if that was it but mine went away after a few weeks. Feel Better!
  12. I am about 4 months out and I eat: Protein shake for Breakfast or 2 egg omlette with veggies and protein (meat) lunch either a salad with chicken in it, a lean cuisine, or protein left over from dinner Dinner - about 3 oz of protein (chicken, chili, pork) about 1/4 cup of veggies and sometimes 1/4 cup of carbs depending if I can fit it in Snacks - I choose from a hand full of nuts, cheese stick/lowfat, greek yogurt, Most days - 800-1000 calories
  13. I had my band done in 2011 and had my revision on May 6th of this year. I was 206 when I went in for the band and lost 45 pounds in the 16 months but vomited constantly had a slow leak with tons of fills and was just miserable. I have lost about 25 pounds in the 4 months since my revision but feel 100 times better. The first few weeks of recovery are tough but now I have no regrets. I can eat almost anything in small amounts but do tend to stay away from the carbs because they fill me up quickly and get me bloated. Besides from some severe nausea for a few weeks and a few dumping episodes when I started real food I have been living so much healthier and happier than I was with the band. Best of luck!

    Stall help!

Hang in there, stalls happen. Sometimes I find changing my diet a bit helps. I know you are limited on what you can eat at this stage but try some different things. Your body will start losing again don't fear. I have had stalls that last a few weeks and than bam the weight starts coming off again.

    Food

I am 4 months out and eat very little of those foods. I wouldn't have dreamed of eating that stuff one month out because of fear. I have trained myself to stay away from all those foods because it is easy to start packing the weight back on, I have seen it happen. Not saying I don't treat myself once in awhile but the healthier you eat the better you will feel. Trust your judgement and stay away from all that fried stuff, you will be better off.
