Just let the coke zero go flat, i have it once in a while since around 3 months out
-
I bought a bunch of reeses snacksters, they are delish and have 100 calories per portion (1 little bag) and it does the trick for me. I'll have weeks when I have them for a couple of nights in a row, and then I'll forget all about sweets for a couple of weeks.

Sleevers with kids (particularly young kids)
chilo1 replied to DisneyAddict's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
No extreme is good, I know by experience. My mother was obsessed with her diet and weight, and as soon as I was 9 put me on a diet. I am sure that all my issues with weight started then. I have 3 girls 12yrs,10yrs and 16 months, and I try to get them to eat the healthiest diet possible (even when I was fat) with the ocassional treat and trying not to make a big deal about it. The food for kids here in England is also crap, even though now restaurants are adding healthier choices to their kids menus. If there is nothing remotely healthy I get them something from the adult menu to share, and even the baby enjoys healthy "adult" food, like salmon, stir fries, cous cous. I just don't want my girls to go through what I went, and I'm sure all of us with children feel the same! -
I've never had it done but I do know that it's the most effective way to measure body mass, especially percentage of fat. I f it's available to you I would have it done, it really simple as you can see on the video and only takes a few minutes.

I exercise 3-4 times a week, weighttraining, cardio (aerobics, step), much more intensively than I used to (I'm nearly 7 months out) and I definetly am hungrier

I agree with what Eureka-C just wrote, couldn't have said it better myself
-
I'm nearly 42 and I do worry about it, but to be honest I'd rather have a few more wrinkles (which are easy to take care of with some botox if i was really desperate) than being fat!

I like peanut butter, I use an organic one with no sugar, it's good fats and i like having it on toast for breakfast some days

told not to count calories
chilo1 replied to faithstar's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was told not to count calories either but I did, until about a month ago, and I stopped losing, so I need to start counting again ASAP if I want to reach my target weight -

chilo1 replied to Tiffykins's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
This is a great NSV, especially because it's so difficult to believe that our skin is ever going to tighten even a bit, hooray!!!!!!!!! -

Feeling betrayed and ANGRY. Advice?
chilo1 replied to Skinnyagain's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I agree with what everyone else said, don't let their opinion influence what you do, if you alreadymade your desicion, which you obviously did that's why you have a date, go ahead with it, and let them be amazed when you lose the weight and maybe even feel the confidence enough to tell them to F off! (sorry, feeling a bit angry this morning) Good luck -
One month out & I've gained?
chilo1 replied to disappearingme's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The only thing I can say is don't weigh yourself too often, you can have weight fluctuations for a number of reasons. -
