I just had a small funeral for the 20lbs I've lost since I started my journey. It was a beautiful ceremony....May that fat rest in peace *chuckles*

Girl I had 0 appetite until yesterday LOL!! But I havent done anything other that drink my drinks Tomorrow im going to start utilizing my WII fit and burn some calories and get some cardio in. Im just grateful to be out of this funk

It all boils down to choice and preference, yes a lot of bypass patients have tremendous results but a lot regain everything plus more than there initial weigh over time. I didnt want fast weigh lost, I wanted a gradual change where I could retrain myself to be healthy. Lets face it we put ourselves in this predicament by overeating, unhealthy choices and little to no exercise. With bypass it's rapid weight loss with no need to focus on what you put in your mouth. My ultimate reason for getting the band was I refused to have my inside butchered... That was a deal breaker for me

I have been taking gas x extra strength thin strips like candy it only gives me momentary relief( an hr or so) then its back to the bloating and dancing gas UGH!!!! I weighed myself this morning and i lost a whopping *drum roll please* 1 pound. So yeah like i thought my body is in starvation mode holding on to everything it can. I called to make a post op check up today with my surgeon and was very adamant that i want to see my surgeon not his assistant... My mom went last week and she didn't get to see him. I know i sound like im being difficult but this gas is making me into a full fledged monster!! I'm tired of being cooped up inside ( raining the whole week) in pain and misery -

My surgery was the 1st and I am feeling horrible and very miserable =( My gas moves in my abdomen whenever I walk... Walking DOES NOT help me. It may work for others but it is not working for me.... Today was the first day i was actually able to finish a Protein shake since the surgery. I know i'm most likely dehydrated but what can I do about that,,,,, My port site hurts so bad most times i need to put my palm over the site and apply a slight pressure to gain some relief. I have to take my pain medicine just to sleep at night because i am so uncomfortable and bloated, I highly doubt im losing anything because my body is basically in starvation mode. Its has nothing to sustain it.... Has anyone else been unable to burp? My gas collect right underneath my band but no matter how much i try it wont come up. The only way i have lost some gas is getting on all fours and assuming a downward facing dog like position. Seriously having buyers remorse right now not even joking -

Gas and Bloating has made me a MONSTER!!! I don't want to talk to anyone, I grumble and mumble..... When someone addresses me i grunt in response. I know i am being incredibly rude but at this point and time I don't care!! Ugh today was a ok but I want to get back to my normal bubbly self, before my family disowned me lol

The gas is KILLING me!! I can't burp and it just collecting underneath my band....i drink hot tea but it just makes my tummy grumble, walking isn't helping either I just feel it moving from one spot to another

Hey Girl, It's Thursday and I'm not nervous at all!! IDK if it will change the night of or the day of but for now i'm feeling like a champ. I think because my mom had her surgery on the 17th and i saw how easy her recovery was that it put my mind at ease somewhat

Eh, What a week!!!! I was riding an all time high zooming towards to my surgery date, until i ran face first into a glitch in my plan.... Now imagine this I am at pretesting waiting to meet my anesthesiologist and to get my blood drawn. I pull out my cellphone to make an appointment with my PCP to get my clearance letter ONLY to be told that my doctor is on vacation and wont be back until the 30th!!!....a day after im suppose to be banded. I almost bursted out in t...

My mom had her procedure done and they are so small!! Her port incision is maybe a inch and half long and the other incision look like dot they are already starting to heal and im very confident they will faded and become barely noticeable -
Day 3 of the pre-op diet and I kinda broke down! I was dizzy and faint and I gave in and Had some LOWFAT cottage cheese. I don't feel bad It was a lot and it was only 100 calories. SN: I've lost 6.7 lbs I am ecstatic!!!

It's official I will be banded on august 29th. Wow!! what a whirlwind and my journey has just begun!! Right now I am relaxed and very excited to start to see the outer changes that will soon come. I know my nerves may kick in eventually but right now i'm riding this high until i fall off
