About Me
I am new to lapband talk. I was banded March 24 2011, less than 2 weeks. I am healing nicely...the port area is the sore spot. I will have my first fill on May 3. I have been hungry but I am determined not to give in. I am making sure that I am intaking 80 100 grams of protein a day and I think that helps. Milk fills me with chocolate protein and add banana..not thick shake. I am a professional chef and smell food all the time. It ignites food reactors in my gut. I know how good the food tastes but now is the time to contol and lose. I know the lapband is a Tool and not the cure all. It is a combined effort physically, mentally and spiritually. I have searched out many blogs and even started my own but this one is the most informative. I'll band to that !
