I'm interested in getting one with a DVD. Any suggestions?
-
A coworker purchased a 16 DVD set and a kettleball. I checked out the website and it looks awesome. I'm interested in purchasing a cheaper/starter bell and DVD. Anyone try it? What video do you recommend? I'm 2 months post op and am very worried about flabby skin, especially my bat wings on my arms. I'm hoping since you are always holding the bell, that it may help in tightening up the skin. please share your thoughts.

Thanks for the info. quote name='aroundthetown' timestamp='1311725829' post='1644863'] oh my the kettle bell can kick your behind. I use one at the gym for squats and for swinging back and forth between my legs to just parallel to my shoulders. It's pretty good. BUT I do have to say, my batwings are hanging on despite the kettle bell!

Lap Band Names??
Time2BHealthy replied to jensjourney's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ahhhh, I love all the names as well. I need a creative name. Keep the names coming. -
I recently had my third fill. The first few days after I follow the liquids, mushies, etc rule. It is really hard to get liquids down the 2nd day still. Warm foods are easier than cold drinks. Is it true that your stomach swells after a fill? I was told that but find it hard to believe just half a cc could do that.
-
I had my 3rd fill three days ago. My rules were liquids first day, mushies 2nd and regular 3rd day. I'm having the hardest time. My water even feels like it hangs there. Everytime I burp, something comes up. It just wont go and stay down. I talked to Dr. yesterday and was told to just stick with liquids. I'm hungry and tired of this. We leave for family vacation tomorrow and hope it gets better. I'm told there is swelling with fills. She only added 1/2cc so I am at 6cc/10cc. Ouch

I can barely keep water down. I take a sip, fell I have to burp, and it comes right up! I'm hungry! This is ridiculous! I want to fast forward a couple days.

Bubbles after Fill
Time2BHealthy replied to Gabandgirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Every single time I take a drink, my throat makes a weird noise....loud noise. It isn't a burp really. I've had two people tell me it was like a clogged toilet. Haha -
Please explain what your "sweet spot" feels like..
Time2BHealthy replied to MrsBerggren's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
These responses were very helpful to me because I'm at 5.5cc/10, hoping I get there soon. Just a side note, why are "spots" so hard to find (ex: sweet spot & G-spot) hahaha -
Next weekend I have an annual girls weekend at the lake. Yes, this includes alcoholic beverages. Maybe a few. Before surgery the only thing I drank was beer. Has anyone had beer post surgery? I'm afraid of the carbonation. Any other beverage options? I'm not a wine drinker.

I received my 2nd fill on Friday and today, Sunday, I accidentally swallowed gum. Since then, everything I have eaten has gotten stuck (scrambled eggs and cantaloupe ). Even drinking stays a while. I'm panicking. I read on a different site that a surgeon has to remove. Is this true?

Where do you buy papaya extract?
Time2BHealthy replied to size10again's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Do doctors recommend using that? -
oh no! i swallowed gum
Time2BHealthy replied to Time2BHealthy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Nothing! Thank God. My Dr. Thought that I was maybe swollen and my food got stuck. I moved to liquids a bit longer and all is fine. Thanks for checking. No more gum for this bander! -
alcoholic beverages

Are you talking about the Walmart version of crystal lite packets? I have never seen those flavors if that's what you mean. If it isn't them, can you explain what they are and where do you find them? uote name='michellehoeffel' timestamp='1310010321' post='1636366'] I have been on the skinny margarita kick. I drink a couple times a month (sometimes more even in the summer with all the bbqs and have had 110lb loss in a year and a half). I have not had any carbonation since being banded except for a glass of champagne for my sisters wedding (it actually bothered my but it was my sisters wedding). I have also done the walmart brand sf drink mix. They have margarita line, strawberry daquari, cranberry. You could also do the vodka lemonade. -
alcoholic beverages
Time2BHealthy replied to Time2BHealthy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Im not a big drinker either, but there are a few occasions in a year, and this is one. Does drinking the beer do anything to you? Burps? Have you heard leaving it sit out for 30 minutes to lose its fizz? Can it stretch your pouch? -

Reached 100 lbs. lost! I can't believe it!

Way to go! -
Not fair.....I know. I am on my 2nd fill and actually finally starting. I'm sure it has to do with how big your stomach is. Those that are bigger, will have more restriction. Good luck

oh no! i swallowed gum
Time2BHealthy replied to Time2BHealthy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Does anyone know how they remove it? Open surgery or down throat?
