I had the lapband surgery about 2 years ago. I started off losing weight pretty well, but then I got seriously burned and was put into the hospital for almost a month. While I was in there, the doctors had to take the fluid out of the band in order for me to be able to consume more food and nourish myself back to health. I have been back to my bariactrics doctor a few times and they have replaced some of the fluid. I don't know what it is, but I am still able to consume about the amount of food I was able to before the surgery. My weight loss has leveled off, and I haven't been losing any weight for a good while now. I haven't gained any, which is kind of good, but I also haven't lost any. My total loss so far is about 80 lbs. I probably need to lose about another 100 to get to my goal weight. My knees and back have started hurting very badly, and I am pretty sure it is because of my weight. I don't know what to do about this. I would appreciate some advice on this.
