Anyone know of Dr De Bruyne Chris

Hi Blondynurse, I had to go down to Dublin last month for my first fill, the next fill in Belfast is 13th October and I hope to get my second fill then. Just to let you know they are now coming to Dublin every fortnight. Hope the second fill makes more of an impact than the first I'm constantly hungry this week Elaine

    Eating without drinking

I too have been wondering about this, since childhood I have always had a large class of juice with my food (sometimes two or three). I simply cant imagine how I'm going to eat without drinking when I get banded

Thanks again Just wanted to add Esmey I am sorry about your man troubles men truely are shits at times, it will get easier and in time you will wonder what the pain was all about, he does not deserve you and when he realise what he has lost and comes crawling back (as they all do in the end) you will have moved on and be having way too much fun to even think about him. Anyone know of Dr De Bruyne Chris

Hi Everyone, This is probably going to sound really stupid but I have been wondering since I am going over for surgery on my own what will I do with my personal stuff like my handbag, phone, purse etc. My phone is welded to my hand most of the time!! Funny the silly things that come into your head at times lol Are there lockers in the hospital where I can safely leave my stuff?? E

Anyone know of Dr De Bruyne Chris

Hi Everyone, Having decided to have my band done by CDB I thought I would try and get organised and stock up on the things I will need. I have a question about protein shakes and wondered if any of you could help. When do I have to start drinking these? and how long do I have to drink them for? Are there any decent ones on the UK market and if so where do I get them? Any other tips on things I will need in the weeks before/after surgery?? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks folks for the advice, I have been in touch with Frederik and am booked for 2nd August. I'm sure by then I will have changed my mind a million times and will be completely grey and broke but at least I have booked it I have decided that I am deffo going to travel on my own, after all it is only 3 days. I'm sure I will be asking for lots of tips and advise between now and August!! E

Anyone know of Dr De Bruyne Chris

Hi Everyone, I am completely new to this so not sure if I am posting in the right place. I am from Northern Ireland and I am considering surgery in Belgium. I have just received info from Frederik about Dr Chris. I have read a lot about Dr Chris, both on the this site and the web in general. I have a few questions and was wonder if anyone here could answer them? Firstly, which band to get? Frederick sent me info on quite a few, is this my choice or does Dr Chris decide? Secondly payment, do I really have to take cash? I am thinking of going to Belgium on my own and don't really want to have to carry all that cash with me. And finally, has anyone else gone on their own? I don't want to tell anyone apart from a very close friend and he has a complete phobia of flying so its not possible for him to accompany me I really would appreciate your help/responses (especially anyone from Ireland -North or South) who can help guide me through this somewhat scary process Thanks, E
