It is totally normal to have the pain in your shoulder. When they do the surgery the air that gets trapped in your abdomen trys to get out. It causes pain in your shoulder. My doctor actually told me this was going to happen. It will go away in a couple of days. You need to move, the more you lay still the more it will hurt. I hope you feel better soon, And congrats!!! I was banded Feburary 26 07 by Dr. Simpson. He is wonderful! He also has support groups and nutrition classes to go to for help. His office staff is also very supportive. I recomend him very highly!
