You will do great! I think the biggest reason we see so many success stories on here is that like you, the people on here are armed with knowledge and support. The commitment began before the surgery.
Did they give you the pre-op diet yet? I got mine two weeks prior to the actual surgery date. The pre-op diet was the hardest for me. It was like I desperately wanted to eat everything since I knew it was going to be a couple of months before I could again. You can do this Pamela, I promise you!
Everyone probably thinks I am an Edy's salesperson ( I swear I'm not ), but the day you get home from the hospital I would advise you to get some Edy's no sugar added fruit bars. They are with the popsicles. After surgery you will find it hard to get in fluids because you new little tummy will be swollen and popsicles go down slow and easy. These taste great and are low in sugar and carb content, 25 calories each. Have at least two boxes stocked!
