I was baned by Dr. REhnke, but him and Dr. Jessee do alot of work together. If you go online to either Dr Rehnke or Dr Jessee sight you will be able to see each of them perform a lap band surgery on line. My primary care Dr. Suggested Dr. Jessee because his son had interned under her, but I staryed with Dr. Renhke because I had already been to one of his seminars.. He is really tight with Palms of Pasadena Hospital, in fact when I was in the hospital for my lapband surgery on 4-12-11 they told me he pretty much runs that section of the hospital. I have heard nothing but good about him. Good luck in making your final decision and beginning your journey, you won't be sorry.

I had my surgery on 4-12 and my stomach is also puffy where the port is, in fact I can not even feel the port. I guess this to shall pass. Congratulations on your new journey.

Hi! My surgery is scheduled for April 12. I am currently on my 2 weeks of liquids....protein drinks, clear broth, sf popsicles, crystal light and of course water. Lots of water. This is my 4th day on liquids and today has been a little difficult but I know I need to do this and I will. Good Luck to you!!
