i feel the same way i have only lost 3 lbs since my banding and i felt it should come off alot faster

I just got banded last wed and i feel like i can eat a ton i only lost 3lbs on my weigh in and i was wondering since i dont have any fill in my band yet will it get better? im on a cottage cheese kinda diet and i can eat a bunch idk what to do.
