I had been having these types of "stomach" pains (untollerable) for 7 years and NO ONE including emergency rooms came up with gall bladder- Well, I am very thankful to say that when I was having my last workups done before the lap bad surgery, my results came back with gall stones. Long story short- I had my gall bladder removed this past week (full of stones and very sick) I will be having my lap band done on 6/3. Yes, after the gall bladder surgery I had the consipation, bloating, gas all that lovely stuff, it does go away in time but it beats the heck out of having those attacks I promise. By the way, Congrats on your lap band can't wait to join the bansters.

I have BCBS-TN, They have been wonderful and quick. I started my process in Jan. and I am already on my last appt. with my DR. tomorrow and he will be giving me my date for surgery. Best of luck with yours and It will come.

I Totally understood what you were saying and it wasn't ugly! Although when you read it without using emphesis on THAT (the other stuff) it sounded a little off. I Hope to be joining all on this site when I get my surgery date, I was just approved!!! YEA!!!!!

Congrats to you!! I turned in my last months diet info a week ago this past Fri. and they were going to send my package to the Insurance co. I hope to hear back by Monday if I have been approved. Oh, I can't wait. I will be watching to see when you get your surgery date. Good Luck!!!

This is my first time posting, so sorry if this is incorrect, still learning the computer. But, I too am waiting to hear from my Fed. BCBS Ins. Has anyone heard about the Nicotine 6 month test being a new test for the Ins. Co. for this surgery. I just went through all the Pre-cert for the lap band and when I handed in my "final" paperwork I was then told that I might have to have this done before the Ins. would consider???? Just wondering if anyone else had heard this? Thank you
