They are right about the breastfeeding in that a piercing does NOT interfere. I had mine Duke for many years and I must say that after they heal, pleasure is great! I had to take mine out for an xray and when I tried to put it back in, I almost passed out lol .

I know this has been said many times but it really drives on your preference. I think I finally hit the green zone with this least fill/unfill BUT I have a hard time with meat. I chewed the shut our of it and took teeny tiny bites and it has still been a challenge. I found myself turning to slider foods so I think I was to tight, for me. I ate allot healthier when I was just a tad looser. I still lost and kept small portions. Some people like to be tight and it works for them. These past few days I've loosen Ed up a bit, and I'm happy here so I'm not going to get a fill for a while. Just listen to your body and pay attention to food habits so you can find a right tightness for you.

I experienced the same thing last tinge and its horrible! I also cant get very big fills so I only get. 5 Max at a time. I haven't been in 6 weeks because I'm pretty tight still and have no desire to be even tighter. So glad you got relief!

The way you explained it sounds exactly like a slip. I was thinking that while reading your story but I guess I got sidetracked when I realized you never mentioned after care. Which is critical to your success as a band patient. I've heard stories about doctors hesitant to work with patients they didn't band but I would do some research in your area of docs, share you're story with them, and I'm sure you'll find one to help you. With the right after care and the proper education, you can bounce back and still be successful.

I accidently hit post.. .anyway, just keep doing what your doing but learn to listen to your body and the signals you g et from your band. If it hurts going down, try smaller bites and chew chew chew. I have never experienced full like I did before being banded, its totally different and hard to explain. As soon ad I get the hiccups or I feel pressure in my pouch, I stop eating and am satisfied. It took me a while to get that and to lose. Hang in there, y can do this!

If food is uncountable going down it sounds line you have restriction to me.

Hey mtz mom, glad you were able to get some relief! I had to go back last fill and get un filled but I didn't even last 24 hours it was so miserable! Now I haven't gotten another one in almost 6 weeks because I cant imagine being any more tighter. Please keep us updated!

Not having an appetite this soon after surgery is normal, but it is nice, isn't it? Once swelling goes down you'll probably get some hunger back, but I'd not, that's awesome. I know there are stone bandsters that have zero fill and do wonderful. Were you filled at surgery?

I was concerned about my pets too, but as someone stated earlier, they sense you not feeling well. Mine usually pounce on me but they were so gentle after my surgery.

I agree with every thing the above poster said. If you deprive yourself you may not enjoy this new healthy eating lifestyle. I'm really enjoying my new way of wasting and am learning to love food in a new healthy way. If I want a cookie, I east a cookie. But I don't eat 10! I probably follow a 90/10 healthy lifestyle.
