Yeah, I agree with you ! I am getting ready to be banded as well.... and there is a lot of negative feedback and I totally understand everyone's experience is going to be different. BUT I think we are only going to get out of it what we put into it and I dont know about you but we have to stay positive ! bad out, bad in...... good out good in has been my motto lately and it works ! good Luck chuck -

OK , so I too am thinking this.... I am cleared by the insurance company and am waiting for a surgery date. I agree that the band is a tool but for me therapy helps work out the issues. The more you can talk about it and get feedback the better. I wish everyone success and never give up on this journey.... Chuck -
HI Everyone, I have been approved by the insurance company and am now just waiting for a date. I am excited, nervous, scared and anxious all at the same time. I have so many questions about what to do and not do but will be attending a pre-op class at my surgeons office. Can anyone out there tell me how long the actual procedure takes ?

Dr. V is my surgeon too ! My sister in law has worked with him ( she is an anesthesiologist ) and highly recommened him. How long have you been with the band and how much have you lost ?
