Hopefully you are not allergic to the glue, I have heard of some people having a allergic reaction. Lol I never noticed before that most have horizontal incisions! -
I use a scale for my meats and cheese, I have a Martha Stewart one I got at Macy's.

I didn't have staples, I just the glue and mine healed very nicely. This is how they looked 4-5 days after surgery. -
Ugh these past few days I have just been wanting to eat and eat, Im not psychically hungry though.

I had the migraines as well, which Im sure for me was caffine, it sucked but it got better each day. I was on full liquids so I was allowed some yogurt, thinned out cream of wheat, etc.. Im glad I did it, I really think it helped me with post-op. -
