    Bodybugg users report here!

I have tried cleaning it and moving it around. And I tried strapping it on too tight so it would not move around.

    Bodybugg users report here!

Okay has anyone else had the problem of their bugg buzzing uncontrollably? Within an hour it will probably vibrate 10+ times. It is getting effing annoying. This just started happening last night so I figured it was the battery. Put a new one in and nope, still doing it.

    Stretched Pouch....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Get yourself on liquids and start measuring what you are eating. Pretend you are back on your post op diet. Did the doctor's office send you home with any kind of advice? Follow that.

    Hungry and not losing

Firstly many people do not start to really lose until their first fill. Also are you excercising? That is the true key to weight loss. Secondly, you should be following your doctors advice and doing the post op diet. Maybe you have caused some damage by having solids too soon (or maybe not) so you need to stop now. You want your sutures to heal to help your band stay in place and that is not going to be helped by eating solids. A soft solid is still a solid no matter how much it is chewed. Sorry if that is not what you want to hear, but it is what it is.
  9. IMO it helps to show how badly you want the surgery. If you want it bad enough you will follow it. With the Optifast, it is a miserable time at first. But after about the third day it get much easier. You have more energy. You feel better. My best friend who was banded last week lost 17 pounds on her 2 weeks of pre op Optifast. Why not jump start it if you can? But a form of torture? Yeah I could agree with that. It also seems that a lot of people who are not compliant with a pre op diet tend to be less compliant post op. At least that is the case from what I have seen around my doctors office. And as for not being hungry after surgery? 4 days out I was starving, and we are not talking head hunger. The liquids post op were way way harder than pre op. Trying to not eat food while cooking dinner for my family was the absolute hardest part of the whole ordeal, hands down. It made Optifast seem like a cake walk.

    Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

Babygotback...great job making it to goal. Biking is awesome. It is great for toning your legs and butt! And it is way fun too. D....Speaking of BJ I kow there are soe photos flying around of me giving fellatio to my best friends balloon hat she was wearing for her birthday last night. Hehe. Juli look at you Miss I have lost 97 pounds! You fucking rock. HP at least the overtime makes for an awesome paycheck. I enjoyed the 35 hours of OT on my last check lol. So I am surprised I am alive this morning. I was fucking toasted last night. I can't believe that I always do that shit when I have to work the next morning. UGH. But last night was probably the funnest bar night I have ever had. It was one of my best friends birthdays and we went to this bar I have never been to before. I went ridiculously wild and crazy drinking cherry vodka and sprites...through a straw. Shots galore. And I only spent $25 lmao. I will post some pictures when I get them later. But the best thing was that I actually got hit on. By several good looking men. I'm not gonna lie it felt really really good. That has not happened to me in so long. So long I don't even remember. It was awesome. Oh and Juli I think you would ahve appreciated all of the tittie grabbing going on and the part where I buried my face in my best friends chest and did the motorboat. Yeah we get all touchy feelie when we are wasted. I heart the bar.

    Roux-En-Y or Lap Band

My take on the situation is that a roux en y will give you your results much faster but a lapband will help you to maintain your results longer. Not to knock anyone who get a roux en y but to me it is a lazy man's surgery. You can sit on your ass all day for the first 12-18 months and your weight melts off. However, if you don't change your eating habits you will eventually gain your weight back. You get dumping which will deter you from eating sugary foods but that does not alway last forever and is not always the case. With a band you have to eat better because every calorie you put in your mouth counts, you have no intestinal rerouting so you absorb everything from your food. You have to work out. You have to change your lifestyle. But once you get there your band will help you to maintain your loss. You still have to take small bites and small portions, where as roux en y people can stretch their pouch to eat like they could before. Like I said I am not trying to offend anyone who may have had a rny I just know it would not work for me in the long run. And that is the most important thing to decided, what works for YOU.

    Damn bitch scale....

Let me jsut say it is my coworkers bday and I jsut went to buy her a cake. It pained me to have to buy myself a weight watchers ice cream instead but at 500 calories a slice I jsut can't let it tempt me. I can't wait until that day I am "normal" and not worried about eating a small damn slice of cake.

    Barix? Port Huron LB Center?

Port Huron would be your best bet. A majority of Barix's practice is with bypasses, they have only recently started doing lapbands. Port Huron is awesome as is Flint Hurley. I had a great experience with Dr. Bacal in Dearborn.

    Christmas Greed

If they refuse to give in to something smaller then tell them they will get nothing. If they still won't give in, follow through and get them nothing. Maybe it is harsh and they will surely be upset but I'll bet next year they will be much more likely to appreciate any gift.

    Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

I had to leave the riding banana in! I think it is actually quicker to take the stairs at my hospital than it is to take the elevators. We have a 4 bank of elevators for the tower and sometimes it can take upward of 5 minutes waiting for one!
