You can ride a mountain bike on the road and not mess it up, if that is your concern. However a hybrid or road bike will be much easier to ride on the pavement in comparison. Last year I rode a good 2mph faster on a hybrid than I did on my mountain bike.

Isn't that fun? I heart bycyling.

Well yesterday was beautiful out and I got in a nice 25 miles ride!!!! It took me almost 2 hours and was awesome. How has everyone's weekends been? Check in please!

Glad to see most had a decent day yesterday. My butt is on fire right now. I did get in my 25 miles in just under 2 hours. 1:56 to be exact. Not too bad considering I was riding at a solid 10mph last season lol. I am going to get back out some time this afternoon and put a few in. I am going with my partner for the week long ride and she has not spent much time if any on the bke this year or any year really. So I don't expect it to be much more than an hour if that. J I so have to try out the aerobars when I am down nexst week. I want some really bad me thinks. It is sunny and 51 right now. How effing exciting is that? I am all dressed to go just waiting on some podcasts to download. House is clean, chores are done. I hope to get in a good 25 miles. And I am not going to lie I was a bit excited to find out that my church has podcasts from their weekend services. Si I looked up some relevnt ones to keep my mind busy while I am riding. Think anger management lol.

I am complaining about all the food talk, because I am darn hungry now.

Awesome job HP. ZZ I think I could fill a Diva Cup within an hour. Yeah maybe that was jsut TMI but the idea grosses me out a little bit. But from things that I have read people who use products like that absolutely love them.

Well J disregard the art class comment in my email lol. You answered it here. As for cycling I am going to get out on Saturday and Sunday. Sunny and 60 both days woot! I told Mr. BG that if I did 25 on Saturday and 25 on Sunday there would be no reason why I couldn't do 50 straight next weekend. Good logic right?

As for the softball I would think that if you have 3 girls that can't play it should not be that hard to contact the other leagues yourself before calling those parents. Service first? Not so much.

I would think running and kicking a ball would be exciting to her. Dance? That I think would not inspire her much.

Awesome job Zannie and TG. I got out for about 12 miles on the bike yesterday so now I am officially caught up on my workouts. Today however I am not sure where I am going to squeeze one in. But I am going to fit it in there somehow. Somehow.

My favorite mexican fast food is a place called Pancheros. They make these giant burritos the size of your head. I used to down one of those puppies all the time. Now I could maybe eat 1/10 of one lol.

I thought the book was hilarious. I did actually stop eating meat after reading it back in December. I am slowly cutting dairy out of my diet as well, though it is much more difficult to do than the meat was. I have felt pretty good physically, which surprised me.

Okay I have calmed down now lol. I was so mad I could not sleep last night. I finally had to take some lortab to fall asleep! My legs and butt were sore too from riding so at least it took care of that pain. Unfortunately it was at like 11 last night I did this so I was still a bit stoned when I got up for work at 3:30. A couple cups of coffee and I am good to go now. I am going to check with the other Little Leagues in the city and see if they have any girls farm teams. Baseball is huge in my city so there are four different leagues. Hopefully at least one of the other leagues will have a coach pitch girls team. It is just so frustrating to deal with. Especially after the whole tball fiasco with my son. But they can deal with my son next year knocking some poor kid out because he is already wacking it off the tee hard enough to scare me. It should not be this hard to sign kids up for organized sports.

I am so fucking pissed right now. Pissed enough that I am using the word fuck and I have cleaned up my language lately. So apparently age is determined by the age the child was on Dec 31 of the previous year. So since Korrine birthday is January 14th even though she played fastpitch softball last year they only consider her 6 and she can't fucking play. So her option are to either play with the boys and play baseball or fucking play tball. Fucking tball. Which would be convinient if her borhter was playing but her brother is 17 days too young to play tball this year. Because of course the boys are aged differently. Fucking sexist bullshit fuckers. How do I tell my daughter who has been working on pitching and practicing hitting a fast pitch softball that she has to go play tball like a fucking baby. Iam so mad that I can't even get back to sleep. They fucking call at 9pm and wake me up to feed me this bullshit. Fuckers.
