Grapes, I get up to the UP once a year myself since I have family in Munising. D, That ride does not include meals. There was an option to add on Breakfast for $5 a day and dinner for $7 per day. I did get the dinners but not the breakfast. I figure i will just take some Clif bars and we are planning on stopping for lunch along the way each day. All in all with my trip fee, food and jersey I paid $190 for the whole week. Most of the other rides here are about $300+ but do include meals. HP that would be sweet if you guys did the PALM next year. Register early though. They open registration at the end of January and are filled by mid Feb. They take 700 riders. I sent my application in on Feb 12 and was rider number 647. I am seriously considering taking Korrine next year if I can get a tag a long for her to ride.

Lovegrapes most of us do use a coputer to track miles and speed. I think my brand is a Catseye but there re many different kinds at your LBS (local bike shop). Where in Michgian are you located?

J in Michigan we ahve the ODRAM (one day ride across michigan) which is 152 miles. That is in September and yes my crazy self will be attempting it. We actually have many week long trips. A lot of shoreline rides and one to the up. Unfortunately I just can't afford them all. The PALM is by far the cheapest at only $120 for the week.

Happy Monday y'all. I am so excited to be going on my week long trip next week!!!! Only 6 days until I leave. Now unfortunately my partner in crime has been slacking on her riding so it will be interesting to see how well she fares through the whole thing. I am super excited though!!!!!!!!!

I want to say that I read somewhere that anything over spf 50 is overkill and does not protect any better than 50 would. I couldvery well be wrong about that though. That green aloe gel has always been very soothing for me. I also remember one of my friends wearng a soaking wet tshirt around the house to help ease the pain a bit.

So a little over a week ago the first Sonic in Michigan opened. The lines were anywhere from 2-4 hours long. Seriously? I would not even wait at my favorite sit down restuarant for 2 hours to get fed. Seeing as I have never eaten there, is Sonic really worth a 2 hour wait?

Personally I feel like crap. Probably because I did not get home until after midnight and I work at 4 am. Yeah there was a lot of partying going on. Nothing quite like sports celebrations in downtown Detroit.
