So sorry to hear what you are going through but yes I went thru the same thing. I was on clears for two weeks. Just go slow it will get better. What I was told by My doctor is that your brain has to catch up with your stomach. You must reteach yourself to eat and that takes time. Good Luck

I missed counted and tried my pureed stage too early. I hope I did not cause any problems. TMI I have not had a bowel movement since I did that. I still have trouble sleeping and some pain in the from and back in the same section. I am glad I did this but did not prepared for the problems that have happen. Hoping that I did not cause aproblem with my sleeve. back to the liquid that one day of pureed may have caused a problem OMG. I am scared and alone.

Thanks guy i was freaking out a bit i called and was told to go back on the pureed but tried ground chicken and only eat one ounce of it with a table spoon of vegetable and tablespoon of applesauce. I may have not tolerate the pureed chicken breast. They told me to drink milk of magnesia to help with a bowel movement but i did it with out. I am so new to this that I do worry in a big way. Just relaxing now taking it slow.

surgery on 4-11-12 and stil have gas walking helps and sometimes i have a chewable gasx. had one today

I started today with pain in my right side where the doctor has made an insicion seeing him on monday pain killer is not really working

Yes it is normal. I was the same way. I was told that the mind has to get to the same page as your stomach. I sipped alot of Water and Lemon crstal light. It will take a while for you stomach to allow other items. Just try to have something every hour. Tea, broth, Water, crystal light try Jello too. Good luck

I had my sleeve on 4/11/12 and was dischagered from hospital on 4/15/12 and return back on 4/17/12. And was back in the hospital for another week but I am in alot of pain and not sure on how to ease the pain. I was told it is muscle pain and every time I need to cough I fall asleep from the pain. How much longer to deal with pain? Helppppppp

I developed a bad UTI, Kidney infection that was also showing up in my blood. I am on pain killers now. It does not help that I get a coughing at and my stomach muscle aches badly.

While looking for a special prayer for me I found this one so I thought I should share. O God, the source of all health. Fill my heart with faith. Be near me in times of weakness and pain. Although I know You are in control, I am apprehensive about what faces me. You made me, Loved me, and have provide my surgeon with needed skill to perform a miracle in my behalf. Sustain me by You grace that my strength and courage may not fail; Heal me according to your will. Amen

Tomorrow is my turn! I am so excited to know that it will be happen tom. I am looking forward to being ready for my healing to be managable to deal with our memorial day get together. I really don't know know how much this will help, but stop talking about it for a while. Children are like sponages they obsorb everything good and bad. So start with telling her/him that you hear what they are telling you and you understand what they are telling you. Then tell her that you love her. Once she thinks you are not doing this any more she will stop worrying about you changing. Just like on the biggest loser this year is no excuses, because you are using her as your excuse to postpone this. I am only talking from experience my grandchildren did not want me to change. I asked everyone not to talk about it anymore and I told a little white lie when the time came. Everyone told the kids that I am going in for a sleep study and they we tell them that I had a bad stomach ache to cover for the longer hospital stay. I raise my grandkids so yes I Understand how easy it is to put this to the side, but if you are doing this for yourself why add more stress to yourself. You need to tell your children that this is a thought and continue your plan without involving your children in every step. Do your diet, change your habits and everyone else. They will never know the differents. This is just advice you take what you want and reject the rest if you wish. Good luck I go tom 4/11/12 :}

Oh yeah, I got my date April 11,2012 Finally I can stop wondering when will this happen. Happy because I am going to lose my health coverage again. Funny but I will get to enjoy easter, This year we decided to go to church and then the Zoo. I will be able to walk with only having pain in my feet. I will enjoy my grandkids.

Yes god its my turn and if someone trys to take this from me I am going to hurt them! That right I jump, I hopped, I ran, I even begged for this and finally I have all my "T" crossed and my "i" dotted. My ducks in a roll. What ever people can say I did it and I never give up. I thought I was going to have to change my name to neverforme! But GOD you made it possible for me. I to thank everyone for there kind words when I would hit the wall hard and allowing me to vent. I want to thank GOD for the courage you have given me to ensure that I don't have second thoughts about doing this with all my medical problems. I went in today for my pre-op testing and found out what the problem was for the last cancellation and had it remove from my medical records. The doctor said I thought you were not going to do this because you were so heart broken. I told him about the many friends I found on this site and there words would not let me quit. I am on cloud nine and see such a bright future in front of me. I am finallying do me so that I can do my family. I started to look at the pictures of the wedding dress I want to renew my vows at a church cermony because I got married at city hall. I will no longer be in pain. I will no longer be breaking chairs when I sit in them. Look out world here I finally come!!!!! April 11th Bye Bye fat me and all the stupid saying like she has such a pretty face.!!!! Thanks everyone for allowing me to cry, vent, and laugh. Well all are going to get there because God said so!!!!!!!

He guys that so great I have been on a high protien diet until too days before the surgery and then it is a clear liquid diet and this drink that cleans you out the day before. Any of you guys have the same diet for their doctor.

Don't think about just roll with the punches because the second guessing can over whelm you.No matter what delay I had I push thru it kicking and fighting and a lot of crying to but I finally arrived.You will too. I go in April 11th.

Yes I did the same after I was cancelled on feb. 6th but I am having the surgery now in april 11th and in the middle of March I finally woke up and I am back to healthy eating. I did because I was down about the cancelation after waiting so long since 2010. But it will happen soon.Good luck it will get better you will bounce back
