    HRM Chest strap - width?

I am looking at the Omron HRM-100C that comes with the chest strap. Anyone know what the width of the chest strap? I'm losing weight but am still fairly large especially around the chest. I would like to buy this product but worry the chest strap may not fit.

    HRM Chest strap - width?

Its a strap that holds the transmitter that monitors your heart rate. It communicates with the watch to tell me my heart rate, etc. I have to wear this when I exercise to make sure my heart does not go past 80% of my max heart rate. You can read more about HRM here if you are interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart_rate

    HRM Chest strap - width?

Sorry. Brain fart there. Width? No I meant length. I got the product and it fits around fine. Whew. After having dealt with ordering things on the Internet only to find it does not fit me, I was a bit anxious about it.

    HRM Chest strap - width?

I've decided to order it and see if it fits. At least the strap would motivate me to lose enough weight to fit if it does not
  5. Hi all - Im from the Rochester area and was just banded on the 14th of June. I hit my BMI peak of 51 and decided to get serious about losing weight for once and all. We all have the same song and dance of countless diets, ups and downs, etc. Figured banding is the last thing I'll have to do in order to get my life under control. (And yes I know band is a tool). In any case I attended Dr Alok Gandhi of Bariatrics of Western NY (the one at Rochester General Hospital). Wonderful place and wonderful doctor. Surgery went well including fixing the hiatal hernia. So far not much pain - just general soreness. I am grateful they kept me in the hospital for over 24 hours (as it's their routine). Even had me to do the fluoroscopy (sp?) with the dreaded borium drink. Yuck. Gave me time to really rest up and be prepared on how to drink slowly. This forum is a godsend find. I am grateful especially for the food and recipe section as it'll give me ideas during the various stages that we all go through (liquid, mushy, etc). Looking forward to checking this place out more.
