    why do we have dehydration after lap band? I am constantly drinking something yet im dehydrated and tired...now the skin on my hands is peeling... earlier I never drank so much Water....i ve been banded on 17th march...a month back....do we always have to have so much liquids... Im also tired of going to the loo all the time..

    Hi...Ive been banded on1 7th march....feeling good so far...lost 15lbs so far.. but i need to do some floor exercises for my arthritis...can I sit on the floor or will it hurt my band....in case the inside stiches have not healed..I am scared to try... Please advise....

    hi..i've been banded on 17th march...all was well till my 1st visit to my doc....she has stopped all my painkillers...as they may form an ulcer.... and I have severe arthritis...and now walking is become so difficult....my legs are like lead.... does anyone have a similar problem..

    hi....yes I'm having protien shakes...and for mushies its a paste of pulses, little rice, and some veggies...I also have oats and scrambled egg...but I do want to eat normal food...

    hi....i ve been banded on 17th march...and I had no pain at all...ofcourse we are given painkillers thru saline...and then orally also.. But I did have gas and vomitting....first 10 days I had a lot of gas....and weakness... all the best !!

    Thanks a lot...I too have got swelling in the third week and was getting worried.... since there is no pain there is no infection...and maybe a few changes in the diet have caused it... thanks again...

    wonderful post....yes we all have been so dependant on food to get out of our problems...isnt it... and now food our best friend is just not there for us...we have to think 10 times...should I have this...i better not... but we are much better off and soon will get over this dependency on food... all the best to all!!!

    maybe you should stick to light exercises.I too tried some exercises and got a swelling. I think the insides take almost 2 months to heal.
