I do take protein shakes and anything else I can get my hands on I think it must be the liquid vitamins and at the moment I could get any tablet down Please advise

Re banded and cannot stop eating First my band had flipped once I had it fix which was so simple. My port is in my cleavage so a minor cut 15 mins later out and about Scar is all but a very fine line , I say in six months it will be non existence Weight loss steady now -
Hi Brenda We were banded at the same time I am the one that was banded and had no restriction Well done on your wait loss My port had flipped and that was my problem once corrected was everything was fine I think you mentioned you had to have willpower I lost two stone before banded and started out the size you are now and weighed a bit less. I am a USA size 12 which is a 18 in the uk. I have now went down two more sizes and I am delighted So congrats to us both

Anyone else out there with their port in sternum You read right For us women it is just at the bottom of my cleavage Supposed to be more stable Even though mine flipped before first fill. Not sore now, but you do no it's there. Really not much restriction yet , after first fill, hoping second one will have

Many thanks for all your advise Much appreciated. Bmi of 38 and 100 kg It not that I am stuffing my self constantly it just I can eat as before. I don't snack but I cook for my family and feel they have to have a good dinner everynight. I not a sweet eater but love my bread cheese spuds and butter But have cut down greatly due to circumstance s as a full time carer I would say it the sedatary life style With not exercising enough Going to start to day with some gently exercises Got my first fill and my port is in my sternum, I think I would have like it in my tum but it done. Port had flipped so not agood first fill the pain of turning it on my breast bone was agony But two days since and alot of pain killers as feel I have a constant ache in my cleavage now But I read other messages and I will get through it and remain positive I don't eat a lot of breakfast lunch would be a salad or a nimble bread sandwhich and low fat yogurt Night time alway was my problem I know worse time to eat I have stew or some form ofpotatoes and veg a little meat not a big meat eater and have a bowl which is a bout two cups full and then at bed time I have a low fat custard or yogurt or sometimes both -
Please comment if anyone has had this problem..

I have had three caesarian operations although some time ago as children now teens I have a bicornuate uterus and involved alot more cutting than normal ( using all the wrong words) After looking up the surgery, I am bit anxious about the blowing up with air bit, as C section scar is always tender and red. And don't want to blow up. Consultants know of c section, forgot to mention bicornuate. Any one out there able to advise or had the same type of fears
-
Many thanks for all your kind words Which have eased my fears Just pre op nerves, two days to go.

Rang dietician at the clinic Was given a diet of such. Cereal for breakfast skimmed milk. Whole meal sanwhich Low fat spread. Meat or salad filling. And in the evening grilled / steamed chichen /fish Veg and 2 small potatoes So not hard to follow The anaesthetists rang and as I am early in the morning on surgery date, to take a Zantac , which is something for the stomach the day before and first thing, morning of surgery.
