I am finally beginning to see a difference. I didn't realize how fat I was until I saw this pic. Gross!!! Hopefully a new me is waiting to emerge out of this FAT body.... -
After this 4th fill I am finally losing weight and getting full with very little food. Now I am HAPPY!

Officially down 23 lbs. lost the last 5 within 1 week. My fourth fill is actually working.

OMG! I do have willpower, they ordered pizza and hotwings for lunch then theres a tray of chocolates and candy on my desk.

Have my appt. for my 4th fill tomorrow. Scared and nervous that my Dr. is gonna scream at me for not losing any weight.

So now it's been 4 months since my surgery and I'm still at 20lbs. lost. I'm beginning to think that this band was the wrong WLS for me. =(

Had a wonderful weekend, took the kids to disneyland then to Santa Monica beach. So glad it's over, too tired to start my week.

Had my 3rd fill yesterday and today is the first day I eat like a bird. Hopefully it stays that way because I seriously need to lose weight!

OMG Girl! We are on the same boat. I was banded March 3, 2011 and down 20 lbs. I think for me is that I don't exercise. I am always so tired and without any energy at all. I just had my 3rd fill yesterday, I'm now at a total of 8.5cc's in an 11cc band. I have my next appt. in 2 months, my doctor said that this fill should help me kickstart my weight loss. Cross your fingers!! -
OMG! I'm so sorry you've been through all this trouble and pain. I was banded 3 1/2 months ago and down 20 lbs. I know I should have lost more but it's only my fault because I keep eating everything I'm not supposed to. Well good luck and hope your health gets better when your band comes off.

I'm the same way. I was banded in March 2011 and down 20 lbs. I have had 2 fills, (which were pretty big) 1st fill 5cc's, 2nd fill- 2.5 cc's. Total of 7.5 in an 11cc band. I can eat anything but pork meat and I am always hungry. I go for my third fill this coming Monday. Don't know what to expect anymore.

I've ate pizza (I know I shouldn't have), for me it went down fine. The only thing I find hard to eat are pork chops, other than that I can eat anything.

You have a pretty flat stomach.I weigh less that you and my stomach defintely doesn't look like that. -
Hello. I was banded on 3/3/11 and down 20 lbs. I am somewhat disappointed because I hear alot of bandsters that lose that in 1 month. I am struggling and I feel very over whelmed, at times I feel that it was pointless having my band put in. I know I have to do my part (exercise and eat healthy). The exercise part is what's difficult. I have no energy at all, no matter what time of the day it is. Is anyone going through the same problems as I am? Please let me know.
