Hey Bird Glad to hear your date. I was banded on 4/20 and its still a little rough. Airpockets and frustration of not being able to eat. Protein stuff is making me sick just smelling it. Keep me updated and good luck

OK last day at work. Last liquid smelly ass protein drink at work. Im done. Tomorrow is my day Hopefully all will go well. Possibly loosing my gall bladder, hey at least its some more weight off me Hope everyone is doing well. Getting ready for my new journey. Wish me luck

Ok so here it is Day 4 so glad I ran into my support group counselor during my clearance check. Im so confident about this now. Im so hungry today and these clear liquids are not cutting it. I wonder why others are allowed to eat some solid protein at dinner. I would love to even just have some eggs anything but the shakes. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what shakes they are using and have used after surgery. Im on the unjury but find it a little costly. Any sugguestions

Went for clearance today and ran into the support group trainer and all my fears are gone. Whew I was sweating it. yes I will be able to eat again and the foods I love cant wait to have spicy again.

Hello everyone Im sooo nervous about failing. I start my liquid protein shakes tomorrow and feel im going to be hungry. Can anyone give me and recipes for the pre op protein shakes. I purchased Unjury chicken broth and the unflavored. April 20th is the day. Im so worried about what to drink afterwards also. I have no idea why im having such difficulty. Thanks everyone

Thanks but I guess my liquid diet is different from what I have been reading. Im not allowed to have anything but clear liquieds. NO milk so they are getting gross. Chicken protein shakes for lunch and dinner and jello for snacks. Breakfast is sugar free hot cocoa with plain protein. IM starving. Good luck to you also \ -
Hello, Finally someone on the same page as me. Im so nervous and I myself are a little over 5'8 246lbs. I have always been a slim person and in the last 11 years have been packing on the weight. This is the heaviest I have been even with 2 children. I feel people are looking at me saying why are you doing this your not fat. I have to be honest I hate exercising and love to eat. Im hoping this will be a new start to my life. Im sick of sitting on the couch and computer all the time. I want to be out w/my 9yrd before its to late like it was for my 18yr old. Im on my 2nd day of liquids and after reading some of the success stories I would love to lose all of my weight on the liquids. I want to go down to at least 150.

Wow Well Im sick to my stomach didnt think I would feel this way. Hopefully tomorrow I will find out my surgery date. Never thought I would be this nervous. Why do I have it in my head that i will never be able to have solid foods again? Uggh

Am I the only person who feels nervous. Hopefully tomorrow I will get my surgery date. I feel like I wont be able to eat again. I think my heart is ready but my brain says otherwise. Any advice?
