HI , My name is hopeful one and I have been thru this process once before, but as I was approaching my surgery date my husband was diagnosed with Cancer and needless to say I forgot about me and focused on getting him well., and so here I am again. I am leaning more toward the sleeve this time, before it was the band.I am 60 years old , 3 children and 6 grandchildren. I still feel at times I am too old but then I think if I get healthier then my plans are to live a long life. My surgery if I don't let my nerves get the best of me should be around the end of may. I am now doing my 6 months supervised weight loss with my family Dr. I personally think 6 months is too long , it gives you too much time to think about all of this and gets the nerves going crazy. I have been on a couple other support websites and all I read was Negative things and it literally scared me to death so I am hoping this one is different and so far I really like it.
