  5. Went to the doc today and he loosened up my band. It was a feeling of "relief" Now i'm back to eating regular food.. So i stocked my refrig w/ healthy options and now its time to lose the remainder of my weight!!!

    Newly banded!!!

    I have been overweight all my life but kept ballooning with all the yo yo dieting. I finally decided to have the lapband surgery. I had to go on a diet followed by my pcp for 6 mos. I then got approved for the lapband. I had the surgery on 3/24/10. Since the diet began over a year and half ago, i have lost a total of 104lbs. I have 30 more to go. I am content where i am but still do not meet the healthy requirements by the bmi calculator. So here i go! I do wish you all the best in your weight loss journey.. Make sure your taking your Vitamins, drink Water and you might need to start on some Fiber tabs, stool softner and etc. If you have any questions or concerns, message me.. I love to talk angie

    Should I get an unfill after all this time???

    I have had the lapband for over a year. It's normal to get slight pain after eating.. That's the cue of "woah" enough! If you've had heartburn times 1, then i wouldn't be too concerned. But if you go to sleep and wake up with heartburn, bad regurg, vomiting... Or more frequent heartburn then please go see your doctor. I have an appt tomorrow for those exact reasons as above. Plus, i'm not eating the right foods and not losing.... Too tight!!!!!! Good luck in your weight loss journey. angie

  10. :)Thanks for the info! I am worried about the calories b/c my doc says absolutely no calorie drinks. However i do cheat every once in awhile with a glass of milk or a low calorie smoothie... I'm in southern indiana. Glad the storms over. Now back to the cold weather this week.. yuck! Thanks again for replying back. I'll definitely look into it... thanks Angie

    Foods for best weight loss

    :)I agree with the calorie counting. I do about 1200 calories per day. Try to get your Protein in but also make sure you are exercising. If u are losing 1 lbs a week without... You'll lose 2lbs with exercise added into your daily regime. I wish you luck!

    HI!

    Great job on your weight loss!!! Can't believe you've lost that much in so lil time! You should be proud of yourself. I have had the same problem for some time. I know what my problem is though.... It's that im not getting enough exercise and i need to cut out some of the carbohydrates. If u up your exercise, you will see more of a weight loss. 3-4 days a week of cardio and weight training 3 days per week.. Try to break it up.. cardio one day/weight training the next.. etc If you are already exercising then add more cardio... Its a never ending battle! I had the lapband 3/24/10- But been dieting since 10/09... Lost a total of 104 lbs. I am 30 lbs away from goal..... I am struggling to get there! Good luck on your weight loss journey. Sounds like your doing an awesome job! \
  14. What's the calorie and carbohydrate content on the muscle milk? I definitely need to consume more Protein but really careful on the other stuff. If u k now what i mean! Thanks again for the info. By the way, the hailing has stopped and now its in the late 60's and sunny... I made sure i took plenty of pics though... Just in case i find damage! Again thanks
