These sound yummy! I love love cookies! I was just thinking I would like to substitute crisco. Do you think you could use a nut butter instead? This would add more protien and a bit healthier fat wise. Im not great on what would work for subsitutes. I may try this and see if it works.

Susanne and Chilo how you are eating with the sleeves is the way I want to eat with my sleeve. I so dont want to get on the crazy diet train again. I want to eat and enjoy and be happy with life. Being so focus on food didnt help me out any. My two cents worth.

Oh my friend Anita, We so missed you when you left. You were the life of the party. We walked so much Beth and I were in bed the next day. Ha Ha. So how are you doing? Is everything so doable for you. I am struggling a bit but managing. Not as easy as I thought it would be. Sipping is so boring? Cant wait for thicker fluids. So was your trip home uneventful? Beth and Maggie just arrived home.

Hey Tami I saw your post on being hungry and nothing tasting good. I felt that way too yesterday on the way home. I didnt have stomach or head hunger it was all the other hunger symptoms that your body signals you to eat. Today is a little better. I realizing this liquids phase is gonna take a lot of determination to make it through it. I hope you are doing well. I am here if you need. chat late

The substitution with the baby food banana is a great idea. Yes? NO? But now i think about it, wouldn't pb be a mushie food too? Im a newbie so i would like to know where pb stands, full liquids or mushies? -
I made it home yesterday to SNOW and Cold Weather!! Oh well, it makes everthing white and beautiful. Just under a blanket sipping warm liquids. Dr. Aceves group took good care of me.
