Wonder if BCBSTX will cover TT or panni, and what qualifications would I need? I've had lots of skin irritation, but doctor didn't take any pics of it. I've had two c-sections and WLS. Any thoughts?

I don't know what else to do!
SophieJaneB replied to SleeveShelly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You've lost quite a bit. I broke a stall by going to salads for lunch and dinner (using Olive Garden dressing that I got from Sam's). And eating unprocessed foods such as fruit, cheese, nuts, etc. Your stall WILL break, I promise! -

Sometimes i go 2 weeks without going! I have to take milk of magnesia to be able to go. And that's with eating activia yogurt, and fiber one cereal in my diet.

WOW! What a difference!! You look fantastic! Congratulations!! -
So today I was forced to buy my first pair of new pants. I'm 43 lbs down, and still walking around in my old "skinny pants" that are now falling off me. So I went to Wal-Mart (cause that's how I roll) and found several pair of pants, went to pay for them, and started putting them on the counter. It occured to me that I actually wasn't trying to hide the size when i put them up there. Pre-weight loss, I'd turn the pants over to make sure NOBODY could see what size it was because it was embarrassing. But tonight I was like, YEAH, THATS RIGHT! THOSE ARE 14's BABY....EVERYBODY SEE THAT?? 14's!!! YEP. 14 REGULAR, NOT PLUS> ANYBODY ELSE WANNA SEE?? CAUSE YOU CAN! CAUSE THEY'RE 14'S! Felt dang good.

Nsv: I Can Cross My Legs Again!
SophieJaneB replied to smb's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I had a long stall too, early on. It WILL break, and you WILL start losing again! You are doing the right thing by focusing on the positives! You're doing great, hang in there! -
NSV stands for Non-scale Victory
-
That is very normal, it will be okay, you WILL lose more. Watch your foods, make sure they are healthy. I recommend the Smart Ones meals and Healthy Choice meals, they are very healthy and low calorie. You will be fine

After 2 weeks, I broke my stall, and I've come down another 6 pounds in the last two weeks.

Hardest Thing Ive Ever Done
SophieJaneB replied to Mskandi80's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The first month is the hardest! Keep your eye on the prize, and I promise it WILL get easier! Now that I'm 6 weeks out, I feel SO much better, and look back at that first month and remember how very hard it was. But now, it's soo much easier! Hang in there! You got this!! -
