    weird dream!

Had a weird dream last night... I was running !!! not from someone, or something, but for the enjoyment of the thing!!! I can't remember when i last ran for fun...or COULD run for that matter. But it looked fun and FELT fun!. So looking forward to losing my weight andd getting back to LIVING life for a change! Day 2 of shakes 3 times a day...this is gonna be a LOOOONNNGGG 2 weeks...but i'm worth it! Another good note: Just found out that the rig i work on supplies us with the protien shake powder i need...for FREE! thats really cool of em. We have a group that comes out here from Canada, called DEFINITIONS. they are wellness and fitness guys,NUTs and personal trainers. they are gonna work on a workout plan and food plan just for me, and my new unique eating requirements. pretty cool for a good ol' rig hand like myself. learning to stay out of the galley(Dining room for you landlubbers)....Temptation island for a professional eater like myself!!! have a nice day and HAPPY SLEEVING! Pre op DIEt and me!

Starting my pre op diet a l ittle early. I'ts tough for me because i'm at work, I work on a oil drilling rig for 3 weeks at a time, but this time it is 4 weeks because of my surgery date, i needed extra time for healing. The tough part is, you guessed it, FOOD!!! I'ts everywhere! everything you've heard about the food here is TRUE! its good, hot, and plenty of it, whenever you want it!. It's like living at a Buffet, its free and always open! so, i endeavor to have my 2 protein shakes and 3oz. of meat a day.... good news is one of the guys out here had the sleeve a few months back, So he is my support group here(and all of you here on VST!) on another note, i noticed when i turned 40, it was like a switch was thrown, eyesight went to hell, and weight loss was VERY difficult. anyone else? I will post more up as it hits me. P.S. research everything!!! reach out to the people here and of you have a local support group ...do it! they are Just like you and i looking for answers and talking about the things polite society shuns...obesity. thanks for reading... 9. I SO enjoyed reading your story! It has inspired me to put down on paper, my struggles with weight(just for myself). Seems like a good idea for anyone with our struggles to do this., I know for me, it helps me see just how long it has been going on and what i finally had to do to get a handle on it. Thanks again for the inspiration!!! Sleeve date Feb.2 2011
