Well! I am down 98lbs! I still have alot to go but, I feel SOOO much better already now I just need to tighten up some skin and keep those numbers dropping and and I will be even happier!!! I struggle with my body image at times... I know its better then it was just frusterating! I have had cravings for "bad food" but I have managed to work my way through it!! without endulging first the pic with me and 2 kids is a month after surgery I had lost still but only 35 or 30 ish , my kid and dolphin was a couple months before surgery... and the others are very recent dolp.bmp

Thanks! The littest is my neice! The other is mine... Both of the kids are part of the reason I chose to get the surgery... with my daughter I was unable to do simple fun things! and with my neice I though "if im this big i medically wont be able to have another" sooo! now I am having a awsome time living life with both of them! I would like to lose ATLEAST another 100... i would be happy at that point if I can do more AWSOME! Great job for you too!!! It sounds like where on the same track line.. do you work out? how you doing with excess skin? Good job to you aswell!!!!! and thanks again

Thanks!.. I did start at a higher then most number! BUT I defintly make sure I am drinking lots... getting lotsa Protein.. and eating 5-6 times a days tiny amount and i have to remind myself often! sometimes I forget or I dont have proper foods around and I dont eat.. NOT GOOD! get very light headed, dizzy, headaches... I eat a fair amount of cheese, hard boiled egg white, lunch meats, yougurt,nuts, chicken (roasted chickens from store) ground beef doesnt sit right with me! the smell makes me nauses.. oh i liek shrimp and tuna too!.. of course veggies... and some fruit .......... working out was very hard for me due some anxietys at the gym but I have now conquered it and will be starting personal training aswell!!!!

hey guys! I am 24 got sleeved nov 15, 2010. I didnt have any issue just soreness from the surgery it self. no problem at all with drinking, its been great... I am down 98lbs ... I am struggling with extra skin.. I am trying to tighten, well at least build muscle. my confidence it continueing to raise yet lowering because of my skin. I started at a pretty high number.. I still have lots to go!I look forward to the end result

hey you know I kinda had the same thing!!!! I figured it out to be just a muscle soreness...

just been through this exact things!! mashed potatoes or scambled eggs.... MASHED POTATOES!!!!!! i personally have been haveing some problems with scrambled eggs not hard boiled just scrambled... not digesting well.... i would REALLY recommend mashed potatoes with a little grated melted cheese on top!!! you will be in heaven

like I said because of my High BMI it was done at Swedish Stevens hospital in Edmonds.. Coming from canada which our health care is good... this hospital was AMAZING I have never been cared for or treated so amazingly ever!!! ther employees seemed liek they actually liked there jobs!!! .... hospital is a bit for expensive but they were a little worried about complications... but there was none and Id rather be safe then sorry .... i have heard they normally do most sleeve at there center which is great as well!!!!! I went home the next day from hospital

I have wanted to cheat soooooo bad!!!!! but i havent the only thing I did do was lick a couple flavorfull chips for the flavor and omg it was good didnt have ANY chip at all!!!!! i really just needed the flavoring of something on my tongue....... how awful is that??

hey I was sleeve on the 15 as well!... I got home the next day and honestly wasnt what I expected my incisions were the only sore part on me... no gas pains until thursday when I got some GasX wiched seemed to help!! I can drink anything and NO pain I dont get it.. but shouldnt complain?? I am craving crap food though big time its HARD being restricted!!!! My only problem I am having is my calves (both) are quite sore to touch in a certain area.. I went to my GP and he sent me for blood work I did that today checking for clots and results came back that my "numbers" were very high and I needed to goto ER asap... then he changed his mind and said to just moniter my legs.. theres no swelling or colour change and I am up walking, driving lots ( maybe too much??) Another things is i am FREEZING like goosebump cold constinaly..not sure why?? anyone else... not sleeping well up every 3 hours IF i can even fall asleep!!! and one more issue anyone else having a gas pain in their left shoulder??

whats done is done.. dont beat yourself up about it!! just focus on whats ahead and learn from your mistakes.. right i got sleeved on Monday and I want SOO much food that I cant have im tired of liquids!!! id kill for a bag of chips!!!

Hello, well I am home!... i had the surgery monday morning ( I had mine done in the hopsital though due to my high BMI) went AWSOME! Dr, billings did my surgery... he was good. my after care was great.. I have 5 tiny little incisions 1 little bigger... I have had no nausea, painful gas, or troubles eating or drinking.. Personally I feel it is worth the money to spend.. you get 2 years following NUt and fitness and groups and what not... I defintly had some pain inside my tummy... starting to get better 3rd day

Congrats!.. I just got my date today and we will be sharing the same surgery day... I am having all the same feelings as you are.. infact ive cried so much today my mind feels like its gonna explode with thoughts and emotion..here the kicker! Ive had to start the low carb... Allright I have been sitting back and reading every post of here for the past month-ish and Now I think I will write about me. Im 24 I live in Vancouver Canada, I have a 4.5yr old little girl. All my life I have been overweight. I did weight watcher when I was 12 I think maybe even 11.. and until now ive tried it probly 8 times.........when I was 15 it Turned out I had a mass ovarian cycst (22lb tumor) I was huge !!!anyways long story short ...I had major surgery, had to be on bedrest for 3 months. I gained more weight again since I couldnt do anything really! finally I was ona family road trip and in a magazine I bought was a free "south beach diet" book my mom read it and said she was going to try it when we got home I agreed and no one thought I could do it... well after 8 months I lost 60 lbs... I was looking amazing! My Grad year was great I met a guy who was a bit older my first "real" bf... one year later I got pregnant, gained weight back and then some and couldnt loose it after... My relashonaship was rough we fought alot, I had some unerlying depression and anxiety and I tend to be a "emtional eater" ...well it just got worse and worse and worse after being with him for 4 years he was getting to mentally and emotionally abusive I had gaine a fair amount of weight and was misirable due to all situations around me. its been 2 years since being with my ex and lets just say things got even worse...seems to be a pattern?? Honestly I just donnt get how I let this happen to me. I kept seeing the numbers get higher and thinking oh okay ill try harder at this lbs and then id pass that mark and think okay this time! Then I too embarrased to goto Weight Watchers, my anxeity has been getting worse and worse. My weight is ruining me. I cant have as much fun with my daughter.. cause im to tired!...I cant do ALOT of things. and i am tired of it. I am not ready to say my weight yet.. but I can truthfully say it is high then most people on here... I have made the decision to do something about it... I told my parents about the lapsleeve surgery, I did a lot of research for 2 weeks while they were away on a trip, I went to the seminar with my sister who I told about this cause I was driving myself mental on if I should or shouldnt do it. ...My parents have decided to help me out with this, not because they can but becausethey know who I really am, and I am not shining the way I should be. I am going to Puget Sound Surgical Center in Edmond, WA so just over the border. Canadian insurance wont cover it of course, so $17,000 includes 2 years after care program with nutritionist, deitition. its alot of money but I think its worth my life...... I go for my pre-op this Wednesday Oct 20!!! I am SOOOOO nervous! the surgery will be soon after they are saying Mid November!....I am excited but very scared! Theres always what if I dont wake up from surgery and i leave my little girl behind without a mom... ahh tears well when I talk about it. I have tuns of family support which is great. I just hope I can change the way I think sometimes..... Well there it is! I will let you know how Wednesday goes I am doing a surgan consult, psyc asses, and nutrionist assesment...
