No clue. I travel alot so I just used my Hilton points. Someone suggested the Hampton Inn but I'm just not a big fan of the Hampton. My room at the Hilton was beautiful. I have a few pics of the room and view. Just don't know how to imbed into this post. -

you're welcome...I hope it helps. I didn't have a pre op diet because my BMI is less than 40. I believe they only do pre op diet for over 40. I plan on doing lots of pics over the next few days and if I get brave, maybe a video or 2. -

Thanks! So far, my experience has been identical to every other Dr. A post I've ever seen. Very reassuring! -
My surgery is Friday and I don't have to do a pre op diet. I have been gorging myself for the last 3 weeks. It's just like u say. I don't know when or if I'll be able to eat like this again and I am covering all of my cavorted and then some!

I was really impressed with him. It doesn't hurt that he's super hot! -
I'm taking 5 weeks. I work from home most of the time but also travel quite a bit. Had the travel factor not be there, I prob would have only taken 3 weeks. I don't want any stress and it sounds like this is going to be quite an adjustment.

good luck! Keep us posted!

I just talked to Nina at Dr. Aceves. She said it is 10,500 for band removal and sleeve at the same time. She said Dr. Aceves can do them in one surgery provided that the band is not eroded.
-
I keep hearing that Dr. Aceves has special technique. Anybody know what is so different?

I think 32 is pretty common. Search for bougie and you will come up with alot of discussion. I'm kind of a newbie to all of this.

Check out Dr. Ryan Heider. His self pay is $12,800 in Lake Norman. I was considering him before I decided to do the Mexico thing. http://www.lnrmcsurgicalweightloss.com/content/meet-the-team -
go with me!!!!!!!!

I started out thinking I wanted the band as well but didn't realize all the maintenance required. I also don't like the idea of having a port. Too many potential complications.
-
Hi wareagle, What are you asking? About the oversewing or the bougie sizes?
-
that's amazing!

great pics Sheila! -
I bought Isopure unflavored protein powder (Amazon) to mix with Crystal Light for the clear phase. I also bought Ramen Noodles and pulled the spice packs out of them. They tend to have more flavor than regular broth. I have a couple of different types of protein powder. All are whey protein isolate with an avg of 25 gm per serving. I'll mix those with Almond Breeze once I go to full liquids.
