Hello everyone I have to admit I have been veiwing this website for some time now. Reading everyone's stories is awesome! I was goning to have the gastric bypass surgery about 5years ago but was on the operating table and a little voice inside mt head said dont do it cause you have 2 small children and its not your time to do this. It was the day before thanksgiving and on the operating room table I backed out. Four months later the doctor was fired because 5 of his patients had died. So I felt like a failure for not having it done but the little voice was telling me something! I was married for 16 years and found out my husband had cheated on me! Its been a roller coaster but I have met an awesome new guy been togather for about 4 1/2 years and its been the best!!! He treats me like a women should be treated. He is my angel. Never thought I could love again I was wrong! He is so supportive and has put me thru school I graduted in aug 2010 and now a certifed surgical tech! Well I am going to have the sleeve done April 5th and I work side by side with the doctor at the hospital who specilizes in this surgery and he is going to do it. Im so excited but afraid too! After the experience I had the last time. I just want to say all the success stories have encouraged me so much I cant wait to get home from work and get on the computer to read them. When I think to myseld should I be doing this and then I read them it helps me get thru it all. Hope to chat with many of you. You all are awesome!
