I am a 57 year old woman who is waiting for VSG surgery in order to have some quality to my life. Presently I am 336lbs. and everything hurts. I was at a meeting at the VG Hosp in Halifax on Aug. 18/10 and now have my next appointment on Mar. 15/11 and am so hopeful that my life may finally start again. I am an insulin dependant, type 2 diabetic, high blood pressure, cholesterol...blah, blah, blah.

I have been reading the forums from all of you and finally feel like I have finally found people who truly understand how I feel. I knew when my endocrinologist recommended me for this surgery 3 years ago that it seemed like the right one, but now I know it. Thank you!
