Hi Kim I am so nervous too. I can't believe our day has finally come. The hospital left me a message to be there @7:30 instead @ 9:00. We'll be banded @ the same time. I attended the seminar in September and I am having my surgery tomorrow-so about 4 months. I was gathering information since August though. Take care and best of luck to you. Gigi

Kim- As per our phone conversation, I second your list. I have always been too embarassed to put on a swim suit or shorts in public. I would also like to renew my vows. George has also never said one thing about my weight in the almost 16 years that we've been married.(It will be 16 in May) I just want to feel comfortable. Kim Hi! I am so excited for you (and us)! I am so glad that we are embracing this together and on the exact same date. It will be so nice to compare notes. You are sooooooo sweet!! Hi Amelia! Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I have not been banded yet, but because of my line of work (I am a nurse) the doctor said that I would be out for 4-6 weeks. Anyway best wishes on your band day. Gigi

Ms.M- Hi! I attended a seminar in September and did all my necessary appointments(dietician,primary care MD, gastroenterologist, psychiatrist,cardiologist etc.) I received a call from the surgeons office right after the New Year that everything was all set and I received a date-1/30/07. So it took me about 4 months. Best of luck to you! Gigi

Hi Kim- Thanks for including me! If you get a chance give me a call tomorrow-any time. My daughter is home sick w/strep. Zachary was out sick Wed. and Thurs. w/ strep also. Hi Stephanee! I sure am counting down the days-5 more to go! The pre-op diet is going well. I am allowed to have 3 protein shakes/day and 3oz of protein and veggies @ nite-not bad!! Keep in touch-Gigi
