Hey there! Ok for real, I'm seriously starting over today! NO JUNK IN MY MOUTH!!!!! Yesterday was another bad day! I ate a garlic bread stick! and had a drink at dinner! UGH! So back on plan today and since i'm only getting a 30 minute lunch, i'm going for a walk, may as well avoing the temptation of the cafeteria!! PreB- Protein shake (powder, milk, PB, caramel, banana) B- Yogurt L- left over corned beef D- mini hamburger! S- hard boiled egg vites - going in now Water, working on it exercise - walk during lunch NEXT>>> -

I think that is great! I had a lap band and everyone knew about it! and everyone knew when I had to have it removed! And everyone saw how I started eating like a ravenous cow again right away. then the story of my girls weekend away with my mom to Mexico came, and no one mentioned anything. A few weeks went by and no one said a word about my eating a tiny bit of food, I eat lunch with the same people everyday! So, then one day i caved and told 2 of them. they said that was good. I recently told the rest of them, and have gotten mixed emotions from them all, but mostly positive, some just WHY Mexico! But after explaining the whole insurance thing, they understood. Fast forward to yesterday when i was eating a garlic bread stick and 2 of them were sitting in the corner giggling and pointing at me, i felt a bit uncomfortable. i really thought that they were my friends until that moment! I do believe that I am allowed to eat what ever I want, it is my body, if i want to eat a damn bread stick I will! Just take everything with a grain of salt! -
You can Google it, but i do not think it is recommended for anyone that is less than 6 months out from surgery

Happy March! YAY that means Spring starts this month! I'm so ready for it. It was actually 61 degrees when I left work yesterday, but it was raining, so no walk outside! i think I actually dumped last night! Got som really sad and bad news about a little 5 year old boy in the girls school that passed away from leukemia, and I tried to eat away the pain. I just made myself sick. My Joey had cancer a year and a half ago, and whenever i hear of a child passing from cancer i just cave. It sucks so bad! Ok, new day to start over, AGAIN!!! PreB- Protein shake B- yogurt L- small portion of meaty lasagna D- corned beef & cabbage (going out with the girls tonight)(left overs for lunch) S- cheese stick Vites- already in there Water - working on it exercise - will try to walk at lunch again ( at least 20 minutes) NEXT>>>>> -
So we are sitting at the dinner table last night. My husband throws out one of his millions hot momma comments and i'm like ok yeah right. and my 9 year old son says, " But MOM you are PRETTY HOT you know!" I'm like Joey you don't even know what HOT means. He says "Yeah, like the Divas on WWE! You are starting to look like them now that you are losing weight and you are HOT!!" How cool is that my 9 year old thinks I'M HOT!!! Patti

Ok, I wouldn't exactly call what I did over the weekend calorie cycling, but it was calorie something!!! Let's see, I didn't really watch or monitor my eating in any way at all, if it was there an i wanted it, i ate it! Went to a basketball game, had a soft pretzel, got served Breakfast in bed, ate all of it french toast included, went to a birthday party, had pizza and cake, had pork roll egg and cheese on a hard roll (only had half). Get the picture! My 2 week stall actually broke and I'm down 1.5 pounds this morning!!! Felt good to eat whatever and not give a crap what it was either! Today is a new day and week and i'm back on track! Patti -

Julie, What an amazing story! wow you have been around the block (world) a few times! I've only been out of the country three times and once was for my surgery! I am amazed at how you were able to go to law school with a 5 month old! Who cares how much weight you gained, you did it!!! DAMN GIRL!!! You are only a few pounds away from onederland, and you will be there so soon we will be celebrating that next!!!!! you are going to be looking awesome in that bikini in the summer!!! Great JOB!!! I am getting a strange tingling around my left eye and in my wrists. started this morning and is not going away, only getting more intense. any ideas why this may be happening? haven't eaten anything new today or yesterday. thanks, Patti

Happy Friday! Tonight I'm going to Rutgers to watch my 16 year old nephew play HS basketball for the championship. How proud I am of him! Today so far, i think I am dumping on my shake. had to use regular caramel, and it isn't quite agreeing with me! Here is the menu plan for the day! PreB- Protein shake (didn't figure out the calories, but there are a lot in there today!) B - yogurt L- didn't bring any will pick something up form the cafeteria! S - cheese stick D - not sure! How is that for planning! I know but we had a rough night, the girls were up a bunch of times! UGH, you would think at 4 they would be sleeping already!!! vites - in there baby Water - 20 oz in 40 to go exercise - maybe later NEXT>>>>>

When my family must have BK, or McD's or something of that nature, I just take a portion (2 bites) of what ever hubby is eating minus all the extra crap. So if he is eating a Whopper, then I have 2 bites of the meat, a grilled chk sand. 2 bites of the meat. That is usually enough to hold me over until we reach our destination. I also get a hot tea or some other unsweetened beverage. One time my son actually peeled the coating off of 2 chicken McNuggets for me! how sweet, but they were horrible! And to think when I was 15 and worked there, i would eat them everyday!!! UGH! -

Hey you are on vacation! we got this surgery so we can be 'normal'! isn't this how normal people go on vacation?? at least that is how i see it! so on Monday when you get home, you go back to your normal and back on your program! live it up, have fun and enjoy your vacation! you deserve it!!! -

I started drinking vodka again when i got my band, beer was out of the question, and I'm a beer girl! Man i do miss my micro brews! Anyway, unlike Tiffy, I love flavored vodka and Crystal Lite, depending on the flavors you drink, they taste like Jolly Rancher candies! My current pick is Watermelon vodka and Raspberry lemonade CL. YUMMY! also the Green apple Vodka with the same CL is good! The other day we were watching a movie and I had about 3 sips of a drink, and I was pretty much hammered. about 20 minutes later i was perfectly fine! Talk about a quick high! Took quite a bit longer to get buzzed up again! But hey, one full drink is more than enough for me right now at 4 months out! and with the CL it is only 150 calories! Patti -
AW Jane, that makes me feel a whole lot better! I have this gorgeous pool in my backyard and would love to wear a bikini! i think for vacation and BBQs I will get a tankini and for the family time on the weekends I will get me a cute little bikini so my hubby can google his eyes at me! And no you are not loads older, just a few years! i'm just a late bloomer when it comes to having kids! Patti

It is Thursday! One more day of this dreadful week! Woke up with a killer sinus headache today! Trying to drink lots of liquids to flush it out along with some Sudafed. Here is the projected menu for today! Let's see how well I can stick to it, yesterday didn't pan out so good! PreB- Bolthouse Farms Mocha Cappuchino (260 cal, 20g pro) B- yogurt w/ blueberries (100 cal, 5g pro) L- chk w/ rice leftovers (aprox 90 cal, 14g pro) S- cheese stick(60 cal, 5g pro) D- not sure yet vites- in there baby! water- lots today! exercise - hockey night, not sure what i can squeeze in NEXT>>>>> PS - Sarah, looks like you are right, i just entered my food plan for the day in SparkPeople and I only have about 510 calories without dinner! and I'm sure that dinner will not be that much of anything! i'm never in the mood for food when i get home from work! -

Sarah, Do you really think i'm eating too little? I can barely fit anything else in there! Actually I had 1/2 cup of chili and some cantaloupe for lunch and a 1/4 piece of that pizza for dinner, it smelled so good in the oven! I think I'm going to start tracking my calories, i'm not very good at it, but maybe it will help! thanks! -

I get really bad migraines, and with them the whole nausea vomiting thing. That is completely different than over eating vomiting thing. Like Irene said, when you over eat, it sits like a brick in your throat until you kind of like burp it up with lots of saliva. At least that is how it works in my body. I haven't done it since I had my band removed and my sleeve done, kind of learned from experience. Do not like it and do not want to ever do it AGAIN!!! I am 4 months out and have yet to experience a stomach bug or anything like that, thank God I have healthy kids! We just pass around runny noses! We have really bad allergies, which cause a whole other issue when eating! Hope this helps! Patti -

Happy Hump Day!! Ok so this stall is driving me a bit crazy. I'm trying not to let it, but for real, the scale is not budging! I'm going to give it til the weekend then I'm going to go all comando on it! Hey all, Happy 2s day! Got my labs back from the Dr, everything was great except my vite D was a bit low, 26 should be higher than 35 (think that is what she said) and my cholesterol was 216, should be 200 or lower. So all in all i'm doing pretty darn good! they called in the Super D for me to take 2X a week, and told me to keep doing what i'm doing other wise! YAY! here is my menu for today, let's see how it goes! PreB- Protein shake (homemade) B-yogurt L-tuna! something different! & canaloupe D-whatever mom makes(was ghoulosh last night YUMMY) vites - in there baby Water - goin in! exercise - have to step it up to lower the cholesterol! I would totally love to agree with you, but since I had twins 4 years ago and just lost about 50 pounds since having my sleeve, I am so NOT looking forward to wearing a bathing suit! For some reason, my skin is not bouncing back. I knew going into this that my stomach was not going to shrink up, twins will do that to you, but my legs are a mess! I will be wearing shorts over my suit for sure! They will be a size small, not XXL, but they will be there!!!!!

I'm just 4 months our and I has 2 slices of deli roast beef and 1 slice of american cheese and about 1/4 cup of cantaloupe for lunch. I was stuff for about 3 hours!

Happy Monday all! For those of you with the day off for President's Day, YAY for you! I have to work! but that is ok it is nice and quiet here is my office! No fighting kiddies! Had a hectic weekend, too much junk food, but didn't post a gain, so that is good! Back on track today! My weigh in day was yesterday but i was knocked out on pain killers from a tooth extraction! I finally mad my Valentine's Day goal!!! LOL But that is just that much closer to Easter goal for me! You all are doing so good with your aggressive goals! I'm so close to my 'real' goal that the weight is getting harder to come off now! i am going to step up the exercise a bit to see if that helps!
